Crimson

Crimson-the perfect color. Just the right amount of red with a tinge of purple and black. The closest thing to blood.

My fascination with blood started when I was eight. I cut my finger and some blood drops fell into the tub. The water turned bright pink, then red, then darker. The swirls of blood kept dancing, like little ballerinas on fire.

You could say I've always had a bloody disposition; this is the story of my obsession with crimson.
