I look up the sky with weary eyes
filled with blue, black, red, and grey
swirling, dulling, sharpened and stained
a scream of love and horror beside me
a wail of innocence and purity beside me
a murmurs of prayers and condolence beside me
a sound of chance and safety beside me
but all too late
pulling my little strength to utter these words beside me
" I'm sorry, I love you..... Goodbye"
