"Why in the fuck would you do this?"
He yelled this, and I could hear his heart break.
"Stephen, I- I had to."
"No you didn't! Why did you do this to me!"
"Stop, please, just listen to me! I can't explain this right now!"
"I loved you. There was no one to keep us from and you've always been open about us,so either you're lying to me or your mentally ill".
"STEPHEN please, please just stop."
I said this tears streaming down my face. He was grabbing my shirt crying into me.
"Holden I can't take being hurt anymore than I have been." He walked away.
"Bye Holden. I hope you have a good life. I hope you're happy. Because I'm not."
He got in his car and started the engine.
I lied to him.
I didn't pay that girl to stop talking about how me and him were together I paid her for information on my dad.
I couldn't tell Stephen because he would be even more upset than he is now.
I guess this was for the best,because I was leaving soon and there was no way in hell I would take Stephen.
"Wait-" I started to say but he was already gone.
My fingers ran through my hair. I could feel every bit of my heart breaking and I went numb.
My fingers first, working it's way through my arms and down my body, then all I saw was black.
All I could think was white.
Suddenly I could see my self.
I didn't know I was doing this but I could see myself tearing out my hair, pacing, crying. I could see everything, including my body falling to the ground.
I saw a boy walk past me and stop, his face worried.
He tried to shake me awake but couldn't. He picked me up and all I saw was him put me in his back seat and call someone then I felt the same as I did before.
All i could see was black and all I could think was white.
