One Dance (Star Lord x Female Reader)

"Quill," you smiled as Peter walked onto the main deck of the ship.

"(Y/L/N)," he smiled back as he sat in his chair and looked at your eyes.

You and Peter had both been raised by Yodu and ever since you were around 13 you both had looked at each other in a different way, what this way was, you were pretty sure it was love even though neither of you had ever felt it before.

You continued to stare at each other until Perfect by Ed Sheeran began to play through the ship's speaker. Peter then proceeded to get up, walk over to you and offer you his hand.

You blushed as you took his hand and he guided you to an open part of the ship. He gently placed his hands on your hips and you rested yours on his shoulders.

"There's something I have to tell you (Y/N)," Peter looked you in the eyes.

You looked straight into his, "What is it P-" but you were cut off by Peter's soft lips crashing into yours.

As soon as your brain understood what was happening, he pulled away and went beat red.

"I love you," he whispered.

You smiled as you grabbed his face and kissed him back, making it clear in your own way that you loved him too.
