3rd person POV

"Hey tiff !" Angelina called from her room to her roommate and best friend, Tiffany.

Tiffany walked into her Angelina's room in her pajama shorts and tank top. "Yeah Angie, what's up ?" Tiffany rubbed her eyes looking sleepy in Angelina's door frame. Angelina paused at the sight of her friend.

"Were you just napping?" Angelina asked trying to suppress laughter. Tiffany crossed her arms across her chest looking offended.

"No what makes you say that?" Tiffany says asking half curious and half guilty. Angelina started laughing and Tiffany already knew why she was laughing.

"It's 2:40 pm!" Angelina laughs at Tiffany's failed attempt to hide the fact that she loves her naps.

"LISTEN YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE MY NAPS !" Tiffany tries to say seriously but ends up breaking into a fit of laughter too. "What were you gonna ask me?" Tiffany asks trying to change the topic.

"I'm gonna go to get iced coffee, want anything?" Angelina asked Tiffany.

"Actually, can you bring me an iced coffee too?" Tiffany asked. "Of course, I'll be back soon" Angelina said to Tiffany after looking at her reflection one last time in the mirror. Tiffany went up to Angelina and hugged her. "Thanks, see you in a few, I'm going back to my nap" Angelina chuckled and Tiffany walked back to her room. Angelina grabbed her phone and house keys and left the small apartment that her and her best friend shared.

Angelina's POV

I walked into the coffee shop and looked around. It was pretty empty except for a guy that looked about my age on his phone and sipping his coffee and a girl about 2 years younger than me on the other side of the shop. I walked to the counter and ordered two large iced coffees. I pay for the coffees and walked away. As I waited for the coffees, I sat at a table by the entrance of the shop. The boy that was around my age kept looking at me. Did I have something on my face? Is my fly open? But I soon realize that he was checking me out. I pull out my phone and text Tiffany. She's good in situations like this.

Me: hey tiff

Me: tiff

Me: TIFFANY WAKE THE FUCK UP

Tiffyyy💕: OKAY IM AWAKE WHAT DO YOU WANT?!

As I read this text, I chuckled and saw from the corner of my eye walk over to where I was sitting. It's the boy. My heart starts racing.

"Is this seat taken?" The boy says to me. Wow. He's gorgeous. I'm shocked at his beauty and catch myself staring at him. I quickly snap out of it and reply.

"Oh...I'm n-no. Nobody sitting there. You can sit if you want." I stutter. Wow, very smooth Angelina. He slides into the seat across from me and smiles. I smile back. Wow. That smile.

"So I couldn't help but you see you here all by yourself. I thought you were really pretty so I figured that I would come over and say what's up. So...what's up?" He says to me. I'm at loss for words.

"I mean...what's down?" I reply to him with my best comeback I could think of. He chuckled.

"Nice one." He replied. "So, whats your name?" He asks me, curiously laced in his voice.

"Angelina." I reply, heart racing at 100000 miles a minute.

He smiles at me and takes another sip of his coffee. "Wow, that's a pretty name for a pretty girl." He says. I roll my eyes and chuckle.

"Very smooth, Mr. Smooth Guy. And your name is?" I ask the boy with a breathtaking smile.

"Jack. Jack Gilinsky." He smiles and tips his fake hat. Wow, a hot name for a hot guy.

"Excuse me, miss?" A girl from the counter calls for me. "Your coffees are ready." I excuse myself from Jack and go get my coffees and walk back the table. I sit back down and start sipping my coffee. My phone buzzes. It's Tiffany.

Tiffyyy💕: hellooooo

Me: yeah sorry nevermind.

Tiffyyy💕: wow thanks for waking me up.

I roll my eyes and turn my attention back to the boy sitting in front of me. We talked for about 20 more minutes about anything and I everything you can imagine when I realize that I still have to bring this coffee to my best friend waiting at home.

"Well, I'm sorry to end this conversation but I have to bring this coffee home to my best friend or she will have a heart attack because not only have I not texted her, she LOVES coffee and will kill me if I make her wait any longer" Jack laughs and stops me before I can get up from my seat.

"Can I get your number?" He asks me. I smile at him and hand him my phone as he hands me his. I put my number in and my contact name as 'Coffee Shop Girl'. He hands me my phone back. He put his name as 'Coffee Shop Boy'. He gets up and throws out his now empty coffee cup. He looks at me and pulls me into a hug. I hug back. He smells amazing.

"Until next time, coffee shop girl" he says to me as he leaves the shop. I feel my cheeks become red and grab Tiffany's coffee and walk back to our house. Wtf just happened.
