Shove my identity aside for what you find acceptable
Cover it up with a blanket of authority
Say you're kind and you love us all
But say it's a mental illness, it's my community

Say it isn't so, you terrible woman

How can you, so oppressed still
How can you oppress us until
Our hearts become still and our bodies cold
Letting children grow alone until age of old
Call us disgusting
Call us menaces
You say he is she
Which we all find quite offensive
Let our hearts be with whomever

Let our hearts be whatever gender

Don't try and stop us now or ever

Cause we have our own agenda

Take away my safe space

Say we don't belong

Say everyone in this school
