Chapter 6

The next day Brian was taken with the guards to a room. I was worried. Max had the cell next to me. I was glad to see him again. Today I met with miss landgrey.

She told me the reason we weren't aloud to talk at dinner was because the phone was bugged. The whole room was actually. That's how they found me.

Max and I decided to meet in the courtyard for lunch. I was glad they gave us a little freedom. I still couldn't understand why. Brian met Lilly. Those lucky kids. They fall in love and get to stay in love. Max and I fall in love to find out we're siblings!

I walked out and waited. Soon he came out. We hugged. "Im just glad your alive." He said. "I've spent days worrying about you." I said. He kissed me. Then he winced. My world faded to black. The last thing I saw was Max's shocked face.

Two kids. A boy and a girl. They were running in a field. Holding hands. They looked peaceful. They fell to the ground laughing. Then a man walked up to him. He picked up the girl and covered her mouth with a cloth. Her eyes closed. The boy kicked the man and ran after him.

I blinked and it was gone. Max's face still shocked.

"Did we just." I said.

"See the same thing?" He finished.

"Ok Lenox , maybe we should stop the whole dating thing. Lets face it. We are siblings!" He said.

I nodded. "So now we aren't dating. Just brother and sister." My voice cracked.

"Yea I guess." He shrugged.

"I uh gotta go." I ran to my cell. Tears slowly fell.

The guy I've had a crush on for so long, was my brother. We finally dated. Then found out we are brother and sister. Why?

"Miss bredwood? We need to talk." A finlinn came in.

He led me to a smaller room. "I want you to meet Kam. He's a training finlinn."

He left us alone. "Hi?" I said.

"Hey."

"Why is he introducing just us? Why not everyone?" I asked.

"Because he wants me to get to know you. That's why he left. Ok I'm not suppose to tell you this, but I'm not really a finlinn in training. I've been kidnapped. And it's up to you to save me."

The sirens blared. After he said those last words the whole room shut down. We were locked in here. With no way of getting out. "Why did you say that? Do you not realize we are under 24/7 surveillance?" I yelled trying to open a door. "Your gonna get killed now!" I shouted.

After a couple minuts the sirens stopped but the doors were still locked.

"Great now were trapped." I said.

"Sorry well now were alone." He said. Was he trying to flirt?

"Sorry I'm probably freaking you out. I'm scared. I've been kidnapped and I don't know why." He said.

"Are your parents dead or missing?" "Yea they went missing." He replied.

"That's why." I explained the whole switcher process and told him his parents were probably found and he has to see them die.

"They left me anyway." He said.

"I can keep you from being a switcher." I told him.

"That's fine." He said.

"What you want to be a switcher?" I asked him. He must've been really demented if he didn't understand that switchers can be used for anything. Literally, ANYTHING.

"No it's ok, I have a plan."

He told me how to escape without being caught. Then he winked at the end. A sign to show the whole "escape" thingy was bait. He then told me the "bad ways" to escape as a trap. The ones he left out were the real plan.

"Your smart." I said after an hour of being trapped in the room.

It was getting hot. He took of his shirt and I was wearing a tanktop and jeans.

"Take off the pants I don't mind."

"Um no." I said. Pervert I thought.

"Fine sweat." He was right. I was dying. The only option I had was to go underwear. I didn't want to but I would over heat.

I figured we would have to spend the night like this. He was in boxers I was in my tank top and underwear. I was not going to the bra.

"Ugh I'm so bored!" I screamed banging on the door.

"What is there to do?" I sighed . I heard him whisper, "each other." I nearly gagged. He was cute. No, this hotness was making me go insane. I couldn't date him. Especially after I just broke up with max. I slid down the wall and laid down. I felt his hand nudge mine.

I rolled over to see him looking at me. I didn't realize he was holding my hand.

He scooted closer. Our noses touched. I closed my eyes. He kissed me. I kissed him back. Then he pressed harder. I moved closer. I felt him tugging at my shirt. He paused as if to ask if it was alright. I was hot.

Now I was in my bra and underwear. His hands wrapped around my back. He pressed my lips harder. Then I felt his toungue slip through. My tongue touched his. He picked me up against the wall. I wrapped my legs around him. I let him kiss me. I knew I was so going to regret this.

The door busted open. Max stood next to the Finlinn. He gaped. Kam put me down.

"This isn't wat you think it is!" I yelled.

"Wow, I should've known you would go right to him."

The finlinn grabbed my arm and lead me to another room.

"Now what." I said. I shuddered in my undergarments.

"It's about your brother, Brian, we need to kill him."
