snapshot.

As promised, morningtides . ;) 

This is for Nicole's story, Snapshot. It's a seriously amazing mystery story that I absolutely LOVED. Seriously, you all should read it! (And check it out on Swoonreads, which I'm off to do after this. ;))

I had fun making this cover. I had the idea of doing a sort of old-school vhs rewind distortion? Idk. I saw an image on pinterest that reminded me of that and I thought I'd give it a shot.

I used my first real textures from deviantart for this cover! I also got reallllly familiar with liquefy to do the distortions.

Anyhow, I really hope you like it! It was good practice to make and I really enjoyed making a cover for a book I loved so much. <3

For those of you wondering where the clouds in the sky came in, they're part of the distortion of the photo of the girl. :)
