-Chapter 1-

There's a song up there^^

(Jiwoo's View) She was 5 years old.
I heard the door open, I excitedly started walking down the stairs.

"Mommy!! Can I have some blood to drink??" I called out to my mom as I walked down the stairs.

Even though I'm very young I know how to speak fluently.

That may seem strange.

But not to me.

That's because I'm a vampire.

I saw my mom running towards me as if being chased, and engulfed me in a tight hug.

I smiled at her but stopped when I saw the worried look that was on her face.

"What's wrong... mom??"

She gave me a weak smile and tears were forming in her eyes slowly falling down her cheeks.

One by one.

"Your... father... He... h—" Suddenly I saw her eyes widen turning bright red and slowly darkening to dark brown again.

I wanted to scream but no sound came out.

I felt my stomach squeeze as I slowly looked down to her stomach.

There was a knife through it.

I gasped and started backing away horrified at what I just saw.

Someone or something killed my mom.

Just then I looked up and saw a hooded person.

The hood was covering the face except for the eyes which were bright red looking directly into mine.

I didn't get a chance to cry...

I didn't get the time to mourn for my parent's death...

Instead I got taken by the hooded figure at the speed of light. Nothing came out of me, I just laid limp against them.

Not being able to do anything.

Instead I blacked out.

I woke up tied to a chair. My head hurt like crazy and my eyes were all blurry.

I felt like crying but nothing would come out.

I felt completely and utterly useless, my mom died right in front of me. While I did... nothing.

Screeeeeeeeeech...

I felt intense fear as I heard a horrendous noise, like a knife screeching on the floor.

I wanted to cover my ears because the noise was too much but I couldn't because my hands were tied up with steel connected to my chair.

We vampires are really strong but can be killed easily with a sword that has the specific venom.

What the venom is I don't know.

That's what happened to my parents.

Right... They're dead...

The pain of them gone was unbearable.

Like someone pulling out my heart and slamming it with all their might.

No matter how hard I wanted to I didn't cry.

Not a single tear came out of me.

I was all alone now... I had to be strong.

But deep down I just wanted to join my parents, to end all of this pain that I had.

I was lost in my thoughts when suddenly I was blindfolded.

I tried to scream but a hand covered my mouth. It sent chills down my spine.

I was still a child not strong enough to defend myself.

Anything could be done to me.

The thought had me shaking in fear, as I was in the hands of the person that killed my parents.

"Ahh Jiwoo, my little baby~ I love you so much!!"

The voice sounded sweet.

Too sweet that it sounded creepy, sending bad vibes in all directions.

I decided to muster up courage to speak.

"Who are you?!"

"I'm glad you asked Jiwoo~ I'm your future husband!"

I felt myself tense up. Husband?! I'm only 5!! This person has lost their marbles!!

I need to get out of here, I can't be stuck with this type of person...

"I-I'm too y-young..."

"I know darling~ I'll wait till you grow older."

So... this means that I'll have to stay with him for my whole life...

I felt anger surround me, I am 100% sure that this is the person that killed my parents.

And at this moment I swear that I'll avenge my parents.

This person...

Will die in my hands.

"Shouldn't I be able to see your face??"

I was nervous but I needed to know who this crazy lunatic was.

The lunatic that killed my parents.

"Aww my Jiwoo wants to know how I look like?? I'm so pleased but you'll have to beg. Call me daddy."

What?? Daddy??

This guy is more crazy than I thought. I'll have to be careful around him.

I have to be strategic if I want to escape.

"Daddy?? What do you mean?? You're not my dad!!"

I heard him chuckle. The sound making me become angrier.

"You did say daddy... I'll leave that question to be answered for later my love~"

I felt his presence next to my ear.

I felt his cold hands start untying the blindfold. Slowly...

Too slowly.

Like he was enjoying having me in his hands.

I unconsciously shivered at how uncomfortable I felt.

Finally the blindfold was off. My eyes started adjusting and then...

I saw him.
