I opened it and there stood a tall figure about five inches higher standing in front of me.
He must be Jacob. He looks kinda ok I guess
He looked at me and smiled.
I returned the smile shortly afterwards
"Hi, I'm Jacob, uuhh is L-Leah in there?" He asked whilst stuttering.
"Yeah she's upstairs, follow me" I replied, hehehe
"Ok," Jacob said
I let him in and began walking upstairs to 'Leahs' room, Jacob following closely behind.

"Ok this is 'Leah's' room," I opened the door, trying my best to contain my laughter
"She's not in there," Jacob exclaimed.
"No dumbass, she's right here," I said
Laughing
"Heyyy, that's not funny," Jacob replied fake frowning
"Uuuhhh, yeah it is," I said
"No it's not,"Jacob said
"Yeah it is," I replied
"No it's not," Jacob said
I then heard him start to laugh
"Then why are you laughing?" I asked smirking
"Fine it is kinda funny, and I'm also laughing because of how weird your socks are," Jacob replied
I looked down.
"No their not weird," I said
"They legit say, 'Squidword is Bae'," Jacob said to me
"They should be saying 'Jacob is bae'" he added while laughing.
"Real funny Jacob, Real funny," I replied *note sarcasm*
Jacob's POV
"Yeah I know I'm hilarious," I say while flipping my invisible hair.
"But why do you need a babysitter anyway, aren't you like 14 or 15?" I asked
"Actually I'm 12, and no I don't need a babysitter I'm just going along with this for the happiness of my mom," She replied
Oh my lord, she's 12
"Wait wait wait, you're 12?" I asked
"Yeah I'm 12, why does it matter?" She asked
"Oh it's nothing, it's just that you don't look 12," I said
Wow nice going Jacob 🤦♂️
"I know, I'm a lot smarter than the average 12 year old and a lot less attractive and blah blah blah," she said
I laughed
"Actually you're really pretty Leah," I said smiling
Dude can you stop she's freaking 12.
Uggghhhh my stupid mouth that doesn't know when to shut the hec up.
"Thanks, you're not too bad your self," she said
I blushed a bit. Gaaah Stop!
"Well thankyou," I said and laughed
"I'm hungry, are you hungry?. Doesn't matter I want food," she said
I laughed
"Yeaaaaa, I am hungry come to think of it. What should we eat?" I asked
"Uhhh, well there's a chick-fil-a close by that has a 24 hour delivery service," she said
"That's AWESOME I love chick-fil-a," I yelled
"Same! High five!" She also yelled raising her hand.
I raised mine too and

Our hands became closer and closer together, as they touched we unexpectedly interlocked fingers and just stood there for the longest time.
Unfortunately, Leah began sliding her hand out of mine.
Jacob just please, stop🤦♂️
"That's not how people high five, Dumbledork," she said and I laughed, I think I realized she was trying to make this less awkward.
"Wow, we've known each other for less than 30 minutes and you've already came up with two names for me," I said
"No charge dingbat, now are you gonna order chick-fil-a for us or should I order it?" She asked.
