They say with a crush
You've got four months
Once that's up you move on
After that time you find new love
Then what is this feeling
I still feel eating at me
I've waited and waited
Not four months but five
This needs to be solved
Am I in love or just fooling myself
I just want to know
Are these affections returned
Or is it just me
Am I alone in this fight
Will I ever advance
He has me on a thread
My heart is not my own
Every time I try to drift
He gives a gentle tug
And I come tumbling back
Unable to resist the pull
Of the love that is surging
Deep within me
Bubbling over, filling my core
I just can't fight it anymore
I surrender, waving the white flag
What I thought I could deny
Has torn me apart
Melting every inch of my soul
Every part that wasn't his
