Chapter 2 Ethan

I don't want to be here. I know everyone is trying to be nice, but this isn't how I want to spend my 18th birthday. Grayson seems like he's having fun though so I need to suck it up. I try my best to seem like I'm having fun. I pretend to pay attention the girl dancing on stage.

"Wait until you see gorgeous" someone leans over and tells Grayson. "Everyone loves gorgeous." The girl on stage finishes her dance.

"Now.. It's time... for everyone to say Hello Gorgeous!" The girl that was dancing on stage leaves as another one walks out. Grayson stands up yelling and clapping. I don't pay attention until Grayson nudges me. I look up at the girl she has a bright pink top on with bottoms that are covered in color changing rhinestones. I look at her face and she looks like she genuinely enjoys what she's doing. I can see her start to laugh a little. She's beautiful. When she's done dancing, she grabs a mic and begins to talk. She doesn't talk for long, but I become mesmerized by her voice. She introduces the next group of girls and I keep my eyes on her making sure I don't lose her. She walked over to the side of the stage. She shined beautifully in all the neon lights. I was in a room full of half-naked women, but my attention was only on her. I needed to get closer to her, maybe I could talk to her. No, she'll probably think I'm a creep, but I need to know this girl. I make my way through the crowd of drunk people towards her. I bump into someone and their drink spills on me.

"Watch where you're going!" the man yells. I revert my eyes to my shirt for a split second, then I look back up returning to my mission. When I look up, she's gone. I look everywhere I finally spot a girl with the same hot pink heels on. I follow her outside. When I step outside the door slams behind me, I see "Gorgeous" and her head snaps in my direction. She returns to her original position. She says something, but I don't pay attention due to being in a state of shock.

"You know it's rude to stare right?" I realize she's now in front of me with her arms crossed.

"Um.. I'm..sorry I didn't think I would get this far." I say quietly trying to put myself together.

"Jesus Christ." She begins to walk away, but without thinking I reach out to grab her. "Hey! No touching!" She jerks away from me. I'm immediately embarrassed and realize I need to get myself together.

"I'm sorry I'm really sorry I just... who are you?"

"Who wants to know?"

"I'm Ethan Dolan, I'm 18, I'm 5'11, my twin brother's name is Grayson. My sister's nam-" So much for getting myself together.

"Ok, calm down I don't care about your blood type. Now what did you say your name is, Mr.5'11?" She has a slight smile on her face.

"Ethan Dolan" Her face changes quickly after I tell her who I am.

"I have to go..You didn't see me here, ok Ethan?" I nod my head, but she's already rushing off towards the front of the club. I didn't get her name. I need her name.

"What's your name?" I yell.

"Gigi you did freaking amazing!!" A girl yells coming around the corner.

"Kayla, shut up and get in the damn car!" They both pile into a car and take off.

"Gigi." I whisper to myself.

"There you are!" Grayson yells coming up behind me. "Come on, your missing all the fun!" He drags me back inside.
