I hope you enjoy this little self inspired piece of poetry, probably won't be brilliant, ah well. Have fun. ;)

Caged, trapped, in an ever spinning world,

forced by the boundaries of fate,

to follow the path that is shown,

and not stray off what is layed.

To follow and obey,

like sheep upon a hill,

following the flock,

that leads us on our way.

Life is the cage that binds us,

life is the one that does not care,

life is the one that defends us,

defends us from ourselves and all that is beyond.

Gone is the key to the lock,

the lock that would open for us,

to release what is left of our freedom,

to allow us to stray, to show us the options.

Decades of years we must wait,

to find our intelligence our inner selves,

to be able to stray of the path,

and into what lays beyond.

Some may offer us the freedom,

far before it has come,

yet life has been clever,

it instills with us fear of what is waiting for us.

We scream and we shout and we plead,

yet the murderer is innocent as the day he was born,

offering us, our freedom,

to fly with the wings we can once more take.

Hospitals and doctors, the devils,

that try to hold us to this world,

not let us find out what lies beyond,

beyond the chains that trap us in this cage of life.

Ever going on, ever not caring,

those that pretend to love, hold us to this life of horrors,

do not let us slip away to where we may truly be free,

monsters in the night, monsters of the day.

The wheel ever turning.

Life is the true loss,

death is what is waiting,

Do let it come soon.
