James was just a short, nerdy boy. He was about 4 foot 6 inches. He had big, blue rimmed glasses and his backpack was so full of books that he looked like he could tip over from the weight any second. He was very passionate, for a 14 year old. He cared about his friends deeply, and he was too timid to get into beef.
Aditi was not cool either. She often wore her long, black hair in plaits that reached her sides. She excelled in mathematics. She had some close friends whom she loved and held dear, but she rarely talked to others.
James and Aditi went to separate schools, a male-sex school for James and a female-sex school for Aditi. The two highschools, however, were next to each other in the middle of the town, near the some shops and restaurants. They both got the same school bus, but sat in different areas with their own friends.
Aditi's friends didn't care too much for James and is friends. Like a lot of 14 year old girls, they would gossip about the boys and judge them.

Because of this, the two teens rarely associated with each other, and they had developed opinions of each other based on other's opinions.
