---

They stare at you through the reflection of guilt,

Causing the thoughts of a thousand dreams to flood back,

Accusing and rationalising the portal of self.

Eyes piercing as knives,

You cave under the stress of complying,

The desire felt to prove yourself to the unworthy people who indeed seek your loyalty.

Guilt causes you to leave originality behind,

To sink into another's standards and ideals,

Making acceptations for one,

Then disappointing another,

It causes confusion and destroys opinion of one self.

Life's cruel twists and turns conform to others needs,

Not the individuals.

Understanding what people can ask is the basis of life,

Would you rather to live in the shadows off guilt and the loyalty given to undeserving persons,

Or shine through the smog that surrounds your vision?

To shine in one's own life,

The shadows that make you conform need to be moved.

The need to sparkle is what drives you forward,

Prove yourself and be rid of your guilt that you have no need to feel.

No longer be a puppet of others will.

ok, so what do you think??
