You were standing on a stage for the yearly talent show and your parents were in the background smiling

Y/N: *points to girl* You in the pink and white dress!
She walks up on stage
Y/N: You are going to be my volunteer, don't worry about anything, so please can you tell us your name?!

You were sitting in your room staring at your ceiling when your mum came in
Mum: Hey, what's wrong?
Y/N: I've been doing magic at school but no ones really that interested
Mum: Well you can always show us
Y/N: Yeah but I think I'm going to get a new hobby, like photography or painting or something
Mum: Okay but whatever you do know that we will be proud of you no matter what
Y/N: Thanks mum!
You hug her and she hugs back
