As the flames churned and danced around the old metal factory, Joe looked up one last time to see a small boy. Around the age of 7 standing in the flames, a demonic smile smothered his face. And his black hair hid his eyes. The child pulled a bandanna over  his mouth and nose, seemingly he found humour in Joe's situation. When he yelled for the boy to help, his old, rough, pale, hands got ripped apart as he tried to get a hold on the red hot metals around him. The grey hairs that had covered his scalp were burned away and singed whereas his fragile skin felt as if it was melting. He couldn't smell a thing and his ears rang painfully. The boy just stood, he was slightly bent over shaking. It did not take Joe long to realise the boy was, in fact, laughing he looked as if he was in complete glee to experience Joe's pain. He looked up again and shouted

"Hey boy!!" The child looked up "aren't you going to help me?!" He coughed and his whole body shook and sharp stabs of pain went through him. The child laughed again. Then looked up and loudly stated in a voice so smooth it was almost peaceful.

"Now why would I do that?" He snickered again "I started this hellfire after all, I would enjoy to see you BURN!" He ended the statement by throwing a wet rag towards Joe. Then turning away and walking out, he put it on thankfully and stood up. But when he tried to move towards the exit it set alight and his whole face burned like a thousand fires at once. He threw it off but his face was still burning, his eyes were in utter agony. Joe nearly screamed at the realisation that his  face was on fire. He realised boy had done. The rag was smothered in alcohol. But he had put it on with a hope of life, ignoring what the boy had said.
