Merlin AU Oneshot

It was a normal day, I was walking past the public library. Everyone glimpsed my true self and freaked out so I sent a call to the police. "In one hour from now I will destroy the town." I walked up and down the main road being careful to stay in my human form. After a while I stopped, sat down, abd rummaged through my bag until I came across what I was looking for; a small jewelry box containing my silent, bundled, friend. I opened the box and grabbed the small bundle unwrapping it with shaking fingers; there resting in the middle was my blade. I picked it up and the names began. "Fat" "Worthless" "You killed those people" No it was an accident I swear. I would never harm an innocent person on purpose. "You're a monster, you deserve everything you do to yourself and more" "slut" "whore" "ugly" I slowly sliced my wrist. Every terrible thing I have ever caused whether directly or indirectly sped through my head, and without realizing I had cut deeper and deeper until police lights caused me to look up. I quickly grabbed my compact first aid kit and sterilized my cuts and bandaged them. I was packing up just as a police car drove by. Suddenly the car stops and starts backing up. Inside is a police officer and his wife, then the police officer gets out.
"What are you doing out here?" He asked.
"N-nothing", I said shaking slightly.
"You do realize that a threat was made here earlier? You wouldn't happen to know anything about that.. Would you?" He said
"U-um no I'm just.. working on... homework." I said praying he wouldn't see past my lie.
"Really?"
"Yes"
He pushed me down, ripped my backpack off, rummaged through it. After awhile he started getting annoyed so he threw it at me and told me to pull out my homework.
I put my hand in making some noise and quietly muttered a spell.
"Here it is, what I was working on before you interrupted me."
'Nosy Dick' continued to glare at me when he suddenly reached for his gun
"BAAAAABE you promised to take me to a classy restaurant," his wife whined.
"Coming sweetums"
He got into his car and drove away, as he passed me I flipped him off while walking. He screeched to a halt and a shock of fear burst through me. I took off running then I turned down 78 Miller Scenic View Dr. while running I suddenly changed to my true form. I freaked out and started to fly upwards when my best friend and king, Arthur, grabs my wrist, sadly it's the wrist I just cut and I scream out in pain. I yank my arm away while screaming in pain, and start to fly off; when suddenly a bullet whizzes by my face and I realize that the police are surrounding me. How did that happen? Oh well, I fly higher and higher until my arm starts to go numb; a quick glance lets me know that I had cut too deep but I don't know how bad. I look up and start to get dizzy, my vision blurs, and stars start dancing through my vision. As I start falling I feel 3 bullets pierce my skin, 1 in my leg, 1 in my stomach, and 1 just shy of my heart; then everything goes black. The last thing I remember before everything goes black is the sound of someone screaming and a final thought.
'At least I managed to make some people happy with my death.'
I'm falling through a dark abyss and I scream for help but then I realize that there is nobody there to save me from falling so I silently sink into the void. Then it suddenly turns into a lake and I want to fight so I swim upwards when there is suddenly a random light that I never noticed before so I swim towards the light. Then I start to hear a voice that seems very familiar so I try to piece together what the voice is saying, but soon give up. Just when I start to slip back into unconsciousness I hear the voice loud and clear.
"Merlin! Please baby, please wake up. I can't live without you, I'm sorry I never told you I loved you but please, please open your eyes. I need you.... I love you."
'See? You are loved Merlin'
Who are you?
'I'm the voice in your head Merlin'
No you're not, the voice in my head only tells me everything wrong with me
'I'm a different voice Merlin'
But who are y-
'Time to wake up Merlin'
But I still have more questions!
She snapped her fingers and started to fade
No! Please just tell me, are you going to stay with me?!
"A-Arthur?"
"Merlin?! Oh thank the gods, I thought I had lost you, forever this time."
"So you can't live without me huh?"
"S-shut up, you adorkable prat!"
