I find myself walking into a small clothes store called Blues. I open the door making a bell ring. They're isn't anyone here first because it's like 6:30am and second well it's super early. I look around the small clothing store has average clothes that anyone can wear but they have a large stack of bracelets. One in particular caught my eye it was a charm bracelet it had music notes.

I use to play the piano my mom taught me when I was about 10 but for some reason she stopped teaching me and actually sold the piano. I never knew why I tired to ask but every time I tried to mention it she would act all weird and try to change the subject. After that I gave up trying and let her be. But I really loved playing the piano sometimes I would go to my music class at school and play after school.

I just kept looking at the charm bracelet I grabbed it, it also had a microphone and a keyboard and other instruments.

" It's only $10 but I'll give it to you half off because I've never seen you here. " I turn around to see a girl about my age. She had dark brown hair or dark red hair I couldn't tell by the lighting. She was about three inches taller than I was and also thinner.

" Oh thanks, I was just looking but I'll get it now. " The girl smiles and walks to the cash register I follow I give her the charm bracelet and give her the money.

" By the way I'm Beatrice." She says.

" Eliza. " I respond.

"Is that short for Elizabeth or something? " Beatrice asks chuckling.

"Nah it's just Eliza. " I say laughing a little.

"Nice, did you just move here or just visiting since it's summer?"

"Um I just moved in with my aunt today actual-" Right after I was about to finish my sentence a girl runs in the store looking like she ran a mile her side braid all messed up and yells.

"I HATE GUYS SO MUCH UGH!" Beatrice just looks at the girl and starts laughing.

"Everly calm down what did James do this time. " Beatrice walks up to I guess the girl named Everly and puts her arm around her.

"He's moving to Florida tomorrow and I just found out when I was walking to see you and I heard Rebecca talking to Natalie about it. Like how do they even know I'm his girlfriend!" She says trying to hold her temper.

" You know Rebecca is always in everybody's business and maybe he just .... I don't know was to scared to tell you. Maybe he has a good reason why he didn't tell you. " Beatrice tells Everly trying to make her feel better.

"Yeah maybe your right. But if he doesn't tell me today i will snap. " Everly says then looking at me. "Who's this?"

"Oh that's Eliza she just moved here today with her aunt. " I awkwardly shake Everlys hand.

"Sorry you saw me like this I promise I'm not like this. Who's your aunt? Everyone knows everyone here" Everly says fixing her braid.

"It's fine, my aunt is Katie Smith she lives by the lake. "

"Wait your Jades cousin?!" Both girls say in the same time almost screaming. Damn I knew my cousin was a bitch but by the look on their faces they look scared and annoyed.

"She makes me so mad. Like she thinks she can get any guy and she's so rude. No offense." Everly says.

"Its fine we don't get along that much anyway." I tell them playing with my hair a little bit. They both nod.

"Makes sense if I were cousins with Jade God pray for my soul. " Beatrice laughs me and Everly do the same.

"Hey my shift ends in like 9 so I'll meet you up at Charlie's, Eliza want to come with?" Beatrice tells me while walking back to the cash register. Is Charlie another friend where does she live or he?

"Me and Eliza can go now. " Everly says holding my arm.

"Really? frozen yogurt for breakfast?" Oh well that answers my question.

"I already ate. " I quickly say I don't even think they heard me.

"See Eliza already ate so I'm taking her bye!" Everly yells and pulls me out of the store.

"So how old are you?"

"Seventeen, you?"

"Same oh my gosh that means we'll go to the same grade. I'm tired of the same people here we totally needed a new person around. " While walking Everly does all the talking I just listen and respond with a 'yeah' or 'cool'.

She tells me how her and James met when they were six they didn't like each other but when they went to middle school James got a huge crush on her she would reject him until she said yes going to high school. She ended up 'falling in love'. I quickly chuckle.

I think it's cute how she says he's the love of her life. Like yea you like him now but people change and there's a lot of people out there and maybe you'll like someone else. I'm not saying that I don't believe in love but I've never lived with that type of example at home. My dad left when I was a new born my mom never talked about him I don't even know how he looks like. But I don't care I'm doing fine without him anyway.

We get to the frozen yogurt place it's small but mostly all the tables are out side. We go inside it's fresh I look at the flavors there's like 20 of them. I grab a medium cup Everly does the same.

"Do you want something sweet or fruity? I can tell you the best ones well my favorites. " Everly tells me behind me.

"Fruity I'm not into sweets that much." I say she just nods and thinks for a second.

"I like sweets but for fruity flavors I prefer Raspberry tart and juicy peach tart. "

I put both and fill them up into my cup. I think she chose cinnamon roll and and plain yogurt.

"I'm trying to not eat as much sweets and go to the gym but I just can't resist. " She tells me going over the cash register and playing. I do the same. We walk outside and sit down.

I finish first than Everly. I check the time it's 8am. Right when I was about to put my phone in my pocket my phone rings. I check it's my aunt.

"It's my aunt." I inform Everly she nods she just plays with her small spoon.

"Hello?"

"Eliza darling where are you? I know I told you to walk around town but I'm getting worried can you come you should get settled in. " My aunt tells me. I want to stay longer but I don't want to be a brat with her so I agree. I say bye to Everly and to tell Beatrice sorry I couldn't wait for her.

The walk back to my aunts is about 15 minutes. I open the door Liam is on the couch watching a show I've never heard of.

"Mom! Eliza's back!" Liam yells his eyes still on the television.

Aunt Katie comes from the kitchen hugs me lightly and says.

"Honey great you're here, Jades in the store bringing snacks. You can put your clothes in the white drawer. " I nod and walk upstairs to Jades or our? Room now.

I open the door there's posters and paintings everywhere the room is dull her walls are almost black her bed is messy there's clothes everywhere and then in a small corner is the bed mattress by a large window and then there's a white drawer. My bags are there I put my clothes neatly in the drawer.

I finally finish about 5 minutes later. There's a desk full of makeup and papers I come closer and see pictures of her with different boys. Everly was right she does get any guy or maybe she just has a lot of guy friends? I look at the trash can about 5 condoms. Maybe not.

"What the fuck are you doing here." I turn around to see Jade standing there I almost got a heart attack. I don't know what to say I'm paralyzed.
