Over 2,000 years back, China's imperial envoy Zhang Qian helped set the Silk Road, a network of trade routes that linked China into Central Asia and the Arab world. The title came from among China's main exports--silk. Along with the street itself influenced the evolution of the whole area for hundreds of years. This initiative, One Belt and One Road (OBOR), includes more than physical relations. It aims to make the world's biggest platform for financial cooperation, including policy coordination, commerce and financing cooperation, and cultural and social cooperation. Through open discussion, OBOR can make benefits for everybody. The State Council approved an OBOR action program in 2015 with just two main elements: the Silk Road Economic Belt along with the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (exhibition). The Silk Road Economic Belt is pictured as three paths connecting China to Europe (through Central Asia), the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean (throughout West Asia), and also the Indian Ocean (through South Asia). The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road is intended to make links among regional plantations.
