"gate 247, again gate 247. this is the final call for all passengers at gate 247"

my face tensed up. tears still rolling down my neck, but not my eyes. all that was coming from my eyes was smudged mascara.

"we're looking for an anderson? julie anderson! please board at gate 247"

i had no choice but to fly back to la. fly back to where everything, EVERYTHING, fell apart with jack.

flashback:
"jack, this love is woderful... but it's hopeless."

i can still remember jack cradling me in his arms, and then pushing me onto the ground the next second.

*BEEEEEEP*

"new text message from Daniel Seavey*

i slid open the text notification and read the text.
"julie where the hell are you?!"
damnit. daniel was waiting at the gate practically holding the gate open while I rushed over to get my ticket scanned so i could get on the plane and be know to a whole bunch of strangers as "the girl who was holding up the plane because she was a nervous reck." but that's okay. daniel is still by my side comforting me and helping me completely forget that in 3 hours i have to see my ex boyfriend. and he has to meet his child.

(okay HONESTLY... if you hate how everything I typed is lowercase lmk, ill write like a normal person😂) ALSO dang this chapter was short as heck but it says a LOT for a first chapter... and also my chapters won't usually be this short i just had to end on a crazy note and didn't see how I could continue this chapter and still end on a crazy note, as crazy as this one. lollll I think I've written more in my a/n then in this chapter hehehe whoops.
