The Little Things

Chapter 1

My name is Livvie, I'm 14 years old and live in Michigan. I live with my mom and my dad, and my two dogs. The oldest one's name is Olive, the youngest one is named Porkchop. They're both French bulldogs. Today is my first day of school, Middle School. I'm not sure how I'm going to like it. My best friend and I are really close, and I can't wait to see her. Nor can I wait to see my boyfriend. My boyfriend's name is Jackson he's 15. He was held back, so we're in the same grade. Turns out he was failing classes cuz his mom and dad were getting a divorce. I was always there for him, I remember the first day we met he was the new kid in school the one that was always getting bullied. I remember the first time we kissed wasn't a very good one, because it was in a school play. I really really miss him, he just recently got back from visiting New York City. And I am so jealous he got to go. He said he didn't have enough money to take me with him, but he told me if he did he would have. So anyways right now I'm trying to decide what I should wear to school should I wear some black high-waisted jeans, with a long sleeve shirt that's white with blue elephants? Or should I wear pink high-waisted jeans, with a baby blue crop top? See I guess that my outfit was chosen for me, mainly because my dog peed on the Pink jeans, and I didn't have any extra Pink jeans. So I went with black high-waisted jeans, and the shirt. I ate breakfast as fast as I could. I was late for the school bus but I made it there just in time. The cool thing is about having a boyfriend that lives close to you is that you guys are on the same bus. Next year hopefully it will be the same. I don't think my mom and dad like the idea of me having a boyfriend. But they said my brother could date when he was 14. So I use that against them and now I got a boyfriend at 14. We've been dating for maybe 6 months or so. Let me tell you a little bit more about my best friend, my best friend's name is Magnolia, the best thing about Magnolia is she is a really understanding person. I remember the first time I met her, it was at camp. Me and her didn't know each other very well. But then one day at school she said hi to me. Honestly I didn't really remember who she was. So I invited her to come over to my house she said yes. Do you know that feeling when you know that you're going to be best friends with somebody? Well that's what I felt that very moment. Me and Maggie exchanged phone numbers so we can have a sleepover sometime soon. Magnolia has a sister that's disabled. At least that's what she tells me, see I have a really weird thing that goes on in my head, I don't look at the way people look, instead I pay attention on what they say. It's period 1 right now and I'm in language arts. My next subject is social studies with my homeroom teacher. I'm an A and B student. My next subject after social studies is science. Science is probably my least favorite subject mainly because I always get a B in that class. But I'm working towards getting an A. Sooner or later I'll be in high school. And I don't know if I'm ready for that.
