And so, Lady Serene falls into George's captivity. He has been with her since the First Assault, held captive with broken will and mind, a broken family, and a fractured personality. George could not find pieces of himself everywhere as if it is scattered through the memories of being a person that loves everything and never held a grudge against anyone.
"Serene," George called. "Do not let your persona drowned in your tears. I am nothing but your captive; I am nothing but your slave, there is nothing to worry about me."
Lady Serene hugged her human a bit tighter. "George, it has been years, if not, decades since I held you as a captive! I have lost my count of how many times I tortured you; I enslaved you to the point where your personality is fractured! I may look fearsome, a fearsome vampire, but..." Your Highness stopped. "I want to feel how is it like to be human."
George stunned by Lady Serene's words. He could not find a word for Lady Serene's statement of being tired becoming a vampire. Lady Serene was known for her curiosity upon the human world and eager to do something that a monster does not do. He sighed and leaned towards a wall, a breached wall. Their room has been barraged by an awful lot of explosives since the first attack at the Fort Burningham. "I have nothing to say regarding that matter, Serene." He said, ending the conversation with another hug that lasted longer than Lady Serene's bodyguards who caught in the act and had to defend themselves against the human assault.
George gets up and puts Lady Serene on the bedding. "Okay, you wish to be as human as I am?"
Lady Serene replied with an eager nod, not to mention her tears that began to roll from her beautiful cherry-red eyes. With her eyes began to flood George's chest with regrets and humiliation, Lady Serene fell unconscious with the realisation that whatever she did to George creates an everlasting spark of fire in the hearts of George's kind. Luckily for the three of us, the Human Military Coalition does not have the intention to search the upper floor of Fort Burningham and let George took an outstanding care upon Lady Serene's declining health, mind, and willpower. Her vampirism may not fade quickly, but sure Lady Serene has a lot to say regarding her feelings towards George, a human captive-turned-to-caretaker. George was not sure if to take a good care of a vampire in his abode would do any good to the humans lived within his previous lives, if any.
"It has been a rough year, is it not, Loremaster?" George asked.
"Indeed, George," I said, replying him. "It is a relief that Lady Serene would fell in love with you, after all the work you have to do, her insatiable lust, and her will to reign an iron hand – it seems useless when she fell for you."
"Yes, it is a relief to me, Loremaster. I have not felt this free for years!" He smiled a bright one.
I grabbed the flasks, it is a bit dusty. "For your freedom, George!" I cheered while raising my mug for George's freedom. He lifted his cup and nodded, drink with sheer happiness in his heart while rubbing Lady Serene's white hair carefully and gently. Lady Serene may look vigorous, hardy, and fierce. After it all end, she is just a lass who needs a warm hug, a mug of hot drink, and a bowl of warm beef stew, or one long kiss on her plump lips that no one, even her former husband, could taste.
A sheer happiness galloping through my veins when I did know George is freed. It has been a rough decade for him to serve Lady Serene for as long as the battle against humans continue and stacking many, many victims that myself could not count. Lady Serene is the most charismatic vampire that our kingdom has to offer, and her prowess in battle was not something that humans could ever imagine, nor something that humans could ever face. George is a handsome farmhand and quite a lad, even in his captivity, many of our soldiers would kindly give him a hug due to his kindness and politeness towards the other vampires than myself. One of our soldier, Hexensabber the Executioner, one of the most prominent, most durable, and the most fearsome soldiers in our disposal, would say that even a human "needs a hug from a big gargoyle for his everlasting struggle." He may look fearsome and very intimidating, but George would turn him a bit softer, and even in his free time, Hexensabber would try to invite George to play a game of cards!
