Vivian Grace couldn't help but to stare. Gage Becket sat near her, and he was utter perfection. Other people disagreed, but Vivian thought he was perfect. His messy brown hair made him look more relaxed, and his crystal blue eyes were candy to the eyes. How could he ever fall for the black-haired nobody that Vivian Grace was?

"Vivian Grace!" snapped a harsh voice that brought her back to reality. The class giggled. Mrs. Armstrong glared at her. "We're trying to take roll-call, so please, get out of la la-land."

"Sorry," Vivian Grace mumbled. Probably not a good idea to have her and Gage in the same class.

The bell finally rang and Vivian gathered her stuff. She sighed as Gage passed her, and she heard the melodic sound that was his voice. She trailed him and quickly found Lynda and Rosemary, her two best friends, and walked back to their houses. Lynda had olive skin and dark brown curly hair that made her look like Hazel Levesque(high-five if you get the reference), and Rosemary was considerably shorter and had short red hair. Vivian often thought they were both a lot prettier then her, and they both stood a fair chance of ending up with Gage.

"You will not believe what happened in Art today!" Vivian Grace shared. "So, Lauren was trying to open some paints, and they exploded all over her! She was so red-from the paint and her blushing!"

"Oh my gosh, that sounds hilarious, but I kind of feel bad for her." Lynda replied.

"Funny, but hear this. Today in science, Gage said he broke up with his girlfriend a week or two ago. So, Viv, what wedding dress shall you wear?" taunted Rosemary.

"Ha ha, very funny." Vivian Grace replied. But secretly, she was thrilled. Maybe, and by the small chance, she could maybe get with Gage?

"Here's my house, goodbye!" Lynda called as she vanished into a suburban home. Rosemary left soon after that, after mercilessly teasing about Vivian Grace's and Gage's wedding.

What friends are for, am I right?

Vivian Grace went straight to her room to finish up on her homework. Mrs. Armstrong had given them heavy homework, so she didn't get finish until around ten. She took a half hour or so to draw, and she drew Gage of course. He made the perfect angel. After working the basics of the drawing, she let out a huge yawn and figured it was time for bed. She took a quick shower and went to bed.

Vivian Grace opened her eyes. She looked around her and saw that she was in school. I'm dreaming. She thought. Then she froze. She realized she was dreaming. A lucid dream, they're called? She could make things happen, right? She stuck and her hand and chocolate appeared. Nice. But she could do bigger things. She jumped up, but didn't come back down. She laughed as she flew.

     "Hello?" said a voice.
