Introduction Chapter

Looking down at my hands, with tears streaming from my eyes, all I could see was the crimson red liquid dripping to the ground. My heart twisted with hate, anger and rage. The emotions that I was feeling, swirled like a tornado inside of me.
A body covered in the same blood that was dripping from my hands. A knife laying at my feet. The knife that killed it's victim.

How did it get to this? The question lingered in my mind. Trying to come to terms with what just happened.

I turned around and the full length mirror that hung in my bedroom, the bedroom that held all the secrets to the last twenty one years of my life. The life I once knew but a life that seems long gone.

It was just this morning when I brushed my hair and applied my makeup, looking in the same mirror I found myself looking at now. What a different story it told from earlier on. From a woman who looks like she had it all, to a woman that looks like a demon.
I had to ask the question again, "How did it get to this?"
The only other person who could answer the question was laying in a pool of blood.

The strange thing was that I felt nothing for what I've done. Nothing at all. Whatever I felt for the man on the bed, was long gone. He took my life from me, leaving me empty inside.
Once upon a time, life for us was good. We loved, laughed, learned and played but that was a long time ago.
The memories was becoming dim, so dim I could hardly remember those times.
I loved him once upon a time but that was just it, I loved him. I didn't love him, not anymore.

This wasn't suppose to happen but it did and now I would have to suffer the consequences of my actions.
