Adopting the GoM (Kuroko no Basket x Reader)

Chapter 2

You watched at the side of the mini court the boys created. They stood in a circle debating who will be on who's team. You thought about how there were seven of them so it wouldn't make an even game unless someone stood out. Kagami and Aomine were the team captains seing both of them are power forwards. At the same time both boys shouted.

"I want Kuroko!" 

Kuroko looked at Aomine. " I am sorry Aomine-kun."

Kuroko bowed at him before walking over to Kagami's side. Kise looked at Kuroko.

"I wanna be on Kurokocchi's team!" he ran over and stood beside Kuroko.

Kagami sighed and nodded. Aomine looked at the remaining three, Akashi, Murasakibara and Midorima. He looked very conflicted. 

"I'll have Midorima and Murasakibara."

The pair nodded and stood beside him while Akashi stood at the side beside you. You looked down at him and he had a stern look on his face with his hands crossed over his chest getting ready for the match. 

"Why didn't he pick you?" You kneeled down beside him.

"Because he knows if he chose me the match wouldn't be a match anymore."

You looked at him and the way he said that didn't seem cocky at all, it looked like the truth.  You nodded at him.

"Why did they both want Kuroko? He said himself he wasn't the most skilled."

"Kuroko has something special about him, you shall see what I mean once they start."

"Would you like me to do the tip off?" You asked them.

They nodded enthusiastically. You walked over and threw the ball up in the air. Eventhough Kagami jumped high to get the ball, Murasakibara barely had to lift his feet off the ground and tapped it towards Aomine. He dribbled by Kise and went in for the dunk but Kagami was quicker and hit the ball away. Aomine walked to the side and threw the ball towards Midorima but Kuroko jumped in the way and passed the ball to Kise and he dribbled towards the net, he jumped to dunk it in but Murasakibara jumped infront, Kise quickly passed the ball to Kagami who slammed it in. You watched them in amazement, their skills were better than Seirin and they were high school students. 

2-0 Kagami

"(F/n) where did you go?"

The boys stopped playing and looked at you. You looked at the direction the voice came from, it was your brothers. 

"I'm out here big brother!"

(b/n) came out and saw you sitting with Akashi while the others were playing, he raised his eyebrow. You looked at him.

"Oh this is Akashi!" you pointed to him."and the guys playing are Aomine, Kagami, Kuroko, Kise, Midorima and Murasakibara." You smiled and pointed at them.

"Why did you say six names while there are only five people on the court." 

"Huh? What do you mean? There are six people on the court." You looked at him in confusion.

"No there isn't."

"Guys come here for a second." 

The boys stood in a line like they did for you. Your brother stared at them for a few moments counting and re-counting. He was confused as to how you see seven boys there while there are only six. You looked at him and saw the confusion.

"Maybe it'll help you see seven if they introduce themselves."

Your brother nodded.

"I am Murasakbara Atsushi." the purple head yawned.

"I am Midorima Shintaro." the green head looked bored.

"I am Aomine Daiki." He smiled.

"I am Kagami Taiga." He waved.

"I am Kise Ryota!" He grinned.

"I am Akashi Seijuro." He stared at your brother which made him uncomfortable.

"I am Kuroko Tetsuya."

"Who said that?" 

"I did." He tugged on your brothers shirt to get his attention.

"Gah! When did you get here?"

"He has been here the whole time..." 

He stared at you like you were crazy, there was no way there was a kid there the whole time without him noticing it was impossible. You just stared back at him in confusion, how could he not see Kuroko right infront of him. 

"Anyway, you've found some pretty cute kids."

"You should see their basketball skills, they are amazing. They are the best I have ever seen." 

"Don't over exaggerate their abilites. You are probably only setting them up for failure."

"Fine then, play them 7 on one, mister brilliant."

"I'm no playing a bunch of kids."

"Play them now." 

Your brother shivered in fear. Akashi started at you in admiration, You didn't notice this though, you were to busy staring him down. He finally nodded at you. You smirked in victory.  You turned to the boys, you bent down to their height and smiled.

"Don't go easy on him, give it all you've got and prove that you are better than him." 

"Of course!" 

"Let's do this!"

They stood at their sides of the court and Murasakibara stood infront of your btoher for the tip off. 

"The first  to ten points wins."

You threw the ball up in the air and the match began.
