That's all I saw.
Nothing but the darkness consumed me. I couldn't move, I couldn't hear, I couldn't see, I couldn't smell. It was as if all my senses just ran away, leaving me almost lifeless in nothing but the darkness.
The only thing that I did feel was pain. It shot up and though out my body.
Was I dead?
Where am I?
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What's going on?
A thousand questions shot through my head all at once. Then a shock of pain hit me like lightning. I heard muffled screams.
All the questions stopped.
And all my memories came flooding back.
