Everything was new, inverted, inside out. What The Doctor had thought about life, what he had compiled throughout his 1000 years of travelling, of seeing wondrous worlds and inconcievable miracles had changed in a single moment. Why? Because he was now a she.

Brimming with endless possibilities, The Doctor's eyes widened with glee.Amist the rubble of her crash landing, The Doctor took a moment to look up at the sky, like her, the stars were so ancient yet so new in comparison to their predecessors.Apart from marginal internal bleeding sustained by the unpresidented fall, she was unharmed.Conversly, a worried civilian begged to differ, no older than 19, she too held a childish optimism that the universe was worth helping, this was apparent from when the Doctor first acknowledged her.Fumbling in her bag, the girl rummaged for artificial assistance whilst The Doctor sat dazed and bemused."Ah" she exclaimed as she retrieved a battered textbook, a mini flashlight and phone to accompany it.The girl crouched by the Doctor, shining the dazzling light in her eyes projected from the flashlight which she had held in her slightly shaking hand.Keen to reassure, the Doctor finally spoke, meaning both herself and the girl was discovering her voice for the first time "Its okay.Im the Doctor.Unharmed. Well almost but I'll fix that soon, cells still regenerating you see."she added. The girl beside her was overswept with relief,no longer a necessity, she gave a laboured sigh of solace.Still confused at the stranger who had apparently 'fell out of the sky' the girl was gripped with curiosity, it held onto her like a dog with a bone.Who was this person?

"Thank God for that!Oh, I'm Emily by the way" she said.In addition to this she reached out a hand, ready to be made an acquaintance of, "I'm also a Doctor.Well not yet actually".She quickly corrected. "2nd year med student." Of course, The Doctor thought.Unconciously she had already registered Emily's student like style and multiple ear piercings which emphasised her need to be different. Not to forget the stethoscope which peeked out of her rucksack which went hand in hand with her empathy to help a complete stranger whom was in need. All of the above were clear indicators that she was indeed a 'med student'.Pulling her out from the wreckage, Emily prised the Doctor up from the ground into the reality of the world around her.Screeching of tires and negliable communication of milling human beings filled the air like snowflakes in a blizzard.
