it took a lot of thinking on how i was going to make a fence the feature along with an innocent and sweet and childish vibe, so i had a quick read through your story and picked up the key words: arizona, fence and letters
i interpreted the van as travelling but you can interpret it any way you like
the fence is, duh, the fence and main feature
and the envelope represents the letters they write later
the yellow is also supposed to be quite childish and sweet
so! after all of that, hopefully you can see where i was coming from haha? it took a bit of thinking how i was gonna get around this loooll, so yeah. i hope you like it (:
