"911 what is your emergency? " asked the woman on the other side of the line. It was around 12:30pm and it had been a long day.. Her eyes were tired and she could feel them close after every few passing minutes.
"Excuse me, 911 what is your emergency ?" asked the woman now less concerned. On the other side of the line it was dead silent. No movement no sound. Thinking it was a child's prank she decided to put the phone down and go get some coffee.
She was about to end the call when suddenly she heard crying. "Miss.... I didn't mean to... I..... I.. Was just protecting us"a lady's voice cried out
Now on full alert Mrs woods held the phone close to her ears and lifted her fingers up signaling two police men..
"What have you done dear? Can you please tell us where you are? "Mrs woods asked worriedly taking out her notebook in order to scribble whatever it is the girl was going to say
"I had to... (Sobs and tears?)"the girl cried
"Can you please tell me your name dear?
Rose looked at herself.Her bloody hands and clothes. The body of her best friend on her laps and the greedy pig ocman lying naked beside them with stab wounds all over.
She touched her face and ounces in pain. It was all swollen from the fight she had just had.the room was dark and cold uncertain of the demons in it Rose pulled her best friend even closer.
"Hello?? "Mrs woods called out.
"It's dark and cold and I think my friend is going to die" she cried into the phone.
Beep beep. "Low battery" the phone alerted her..she felt like this was the end of her days. A run-way who ended up dead in an unknown place
"Ma'am. Please call my mom and tell her I love her and I'm really sorry"
By now all the other agents were crowded besides Mrs woods. The computer geeks were working on tracking her phone and pinning her exact location.
"Keep her talking " one of the police men requested at Mrs woods
" what is your mother's name dear? "
"Jessica... Jessica woods" Rose cried into the phone now holding it closer
"Rose! Rose is that you? "Mrs wood broke out..
She dropped the phone tears oozing out of her eyes burning her cheeks.
She couldnt believe her ears. Could it be her? Is it her? It's been two days since she last saw her own daughter.
She had been reported missing and now here she was. Crying into a phone with no way of helping her self.
"Mom... Mom is that you! " for the first time Rose was glad to hear her mom's voice again.
"Monkey is that you? Where are you dear? "
Everybody was alert. Jessica had just recently lost her husband and now her daughter. Everyone was worried.. Sadness streaming all over their faces.
It had only been twenty minutes but it felt like hours. Jessica's heart sank.. She dropped to her seat crying her heart out. "This must be a dream" she thought to herself.
Dial. Dial. "Hello, Beth it's jessica. Is Elizabeth home? "
"No. Is something wrong? Aren't they at your place? "Beth asked on the other side of the line.
Elizabeth was Rose's best friend since childhood. The two were inseparable. Always together.
"My best friend is dying"Jessica remembered Rose crying.
"Oh my God"Jessica's heart contracted tears now streaming down
"We've found them! "Somebody shouted lighting up the room.
Orders we're shouted all over and the police took their weapons and ran out of the office.
Ware house at Eli hillside.
Jessica wanted to drive to Rose but was restrained in the office area for security purposes.
Rose could hear footsteps getting closer and closer to them. The air reeked of alcohol and paraffin. "This doesn't feel good" she murmed to herself.
The line was still on and all she could her we're her mom's sobs and people moving around. Suddenly a hot slap landed on her face echoing all over the room.
"Mom find me please.. Mo.. " Rose was speaking but the beast attacking did not let her finish at all but instead grabbed the phone and crashed it.
She held closely to Elizabeth's body and then felt something cold touch her stomach.
The knife. She placed Elizabeth aside and pulled out the last amount of strength she had in her and stood up
Holding the knife in her trembling fragile hands. She received a punch in her stomach and fell down with a thud.
"I'll teach you a lesson you'll never forget you bitch, "the man shouted. Bits of saliva escaping it's mouth and landing on Rose's face.
She got up, letting out a high pitched scream drove the knife into the beast's heart.
There was a low groan then a huge thud and suddenly cemetery silence all over.
Sirens broke the silence and Rose felt Elizabeth's heart beat but it was slow and fading. She pulled her close murmuring a prayer into her ears.
"Sir should we engage? "One of the police men requested before moving forward. The wooden doors were knocked out of their hinges ad fell down with a thud. The flashlights were turned on but instead of the police men moving forward they first stood fixed transfixed to the ground. The sight before them was unbelievable. Teen bodys lay all over sprawled on the ground.
"Bring in a hundred ambulances"the detective order. "
"Jonathan. Have you seen her? "Jessica asked.
"Not yet but we're still looking. "
