I make my way down to the kitchen where I know Hayden will be. That boy's always with the food.
"Good morning." My Dad walks out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee and a newspaper in his hands. He kisses my forehead and I roll my eyes at him.
"What has you so happy?" I ask crossing my arms over my chest.
"My little girls going on her first tour why shouldn't I be happy?" Dad says with that proud smile. You know the one that just makes your heart warm that little bit more?
"And your little boy." Hayden shouts from the kitchen ruining the moment.
Dad rolls his eyes at the comment.
"Thanks Dad." I hug him tight almost making him spill his coffee. His deep laughs vibrates through him.
"Come on kiddo get some breakfast into you." Dad says and I let go. He then leans down a bit to whisper. "Your sisters in there. Play nice." He pats my head and walks off.
I bite down on the inside of my mouth. I was hoping for a quiet morning.
The kitchen is silent when I enter. Hayden sits on a stool at the island. His head is down as he eats his Co-Co pops. Probably his second bowl.
The fridge door is open shielding a body from me. Only her legs are visible.
Hayden looks up at me and smiles. Almost trying to encourage me. Then the fridge closes and she turns.
The same green eyes look back at me. Everything about her was the same except for her design clothes. And her bitchy interior.
"Really? Self endorsement?" Charlotte raising her right eyebrow.
It was shaped exactly like mine. I looked down at my shirt then back up at her.
"It's comfortable." I mutter walking over to Hayden. He stands up and gets me a bowl for my cereal.
"Comfortable. Is that just another word for baggy?" Charlotte's smirk grows.
I pour myself half a bowl of cereal. Not feeling so hungry any more. Hayden places his hand on my knee. The normal gesture to show he was there for me.
"Your twins Charlotte. You're the exact same size." Hayden butts in.
"Your lap dog is well trained I'll give you that." Charlotte teases her eyes never leaving me.
"Oh piss off." Hayden says to her.
"Language Hayden." My Mother warns as she walks into the kitchen. I'm surprised we didn't see her coming.
With all that make up she does give off a certain glow. The same as a traffic light might have.
"It's ok I'm used to it by now." Charlotte says in a sweet tone. My Mother shakes her head at Hayden.
"You know how I disapprove of bad language." Hayden rolls his eyes at her. If my Dad didn't pay for this house Hayden would be out on the streets.
"You too have to do a twit cam tonight by the way." My mother says tapping her fake nails against her phone. It was one of the most irritating sounds ever.
"Why?" I ask through my full mouth. My mother raises her eyebrow at me.
"To keep appearances up." My mother said as I slowly close my mouth.
"Good luck with that." Charlotte makes a snide comment as she leaves the room.
I look at my mother hoping she would reprimand her. She just smiles down at her phone obviously hearing Charlotte's comment.
