First love

( You are a young girl working as a forensic scientist in China)
It was just another normal day back again at work. I got out of bed and quickly hopped into the hot shower enjoying every drop of the water that soaked my skin. After drying myself and changing into my casual work clothes my phone started buzzing.
It was a text from my partner Luhan who was working with me on a case that I got given recently.
Text:
Luhan: hey are you coming in today??
Me: yes why?
Luhan: the boss said today you can have your day of.
Me: omg really I was just about to head in?
Luhan: well I'm free if you want we could get some coffee.
Me: sure il be there in 5.
I quickly got out of my work clothes and put on some casual clothes since it was only going out for coffee.

10mins later
You finally arrived and saw Luhan sat down waiting for you. You couldn't help but smile at how cute he looked across from where you were stood. As you approached him you noticed his eyes widen.
Luhans PoV: wow I have never seen her wearing causal clothes man she looks beautiful. Wait??? What was I thinking? Am I falling for her?

As you approached him, you noticed Luhan had a unusual look on his face. " Luhan are you ok? You seem like you've seen a ghost?". " yes I'm fine, you just look really beautiful" he said.
I didn't expect that from Luhan, but what he said did make me feel happy. As we were walking he casually was just talking about work and then out of surprise he asked me a question.
" hey I was just curious but if you don't mind me asking are you with anyone?".
I just replied with a simple answer and said " no." At the moment I wasn't dating anyone and wasn't particularly interested with all the work I had. We finally arrived at the coffee shop after walking awkwardly silently there. I just ordered the usual ( gingerbread latte) and luhan got a ( pumpkin spice latte). We got our seats and drinks and sat down. I was confused on why Luhan wanted to hang out with me it wasn't normal. As I was sipping on my coffee I noticed him staring, so quickly spoke to avoid any awkwardness.

Minutes later we headed out of the coffee store and stupidly I bumped into a random guy who walked right into me, spilling my coffee on my dress.

He apologised repeatedly and I just laughed it off and said it was okay. As I looked at who it was I noticed my cheeks feel a little hot because of how handsome this gentleman was. " oh my gosh I'm so sorry ma'm I didn't mean to spill your drink, here let me get you another one" he requested. " oh it's okay there's no need I was finished with it anyone but thank you for offering" I replied back.
Luhan asked me if I was okay and I told him it was just a mistake and that I should head home to clean myself up. He insisted to drop me of home so we walked it to mine.
For some reason I felt excited going home with luhan, I guess because this was the first time he got to see where and what I live in.

I invited him in and told him to feel comfortable and that I would be quick.
Luhans PoV: wow her appartment was so clean and nice. But something was bothering me, it was the fact that I was eager to ask her out but was afraid she would say no.
Finally I quickly got some clean clothes on and headed into my mini living room. I noticed Luhan looking around and at the frames I had around my room of me when I was younger. I could sense he was nervous but don't know why. " hey since we're at my house and we've had coffee do you want to watch a movie or something?" I asked him.
" yeah sure I'm free all day so we might as well" he said.
I told him to pick a movie but he insisted me to so I just put on my favourite tv show instead since the episode had come out. ( Riverdale)
As we were watching it, I noticed Luhan looking gormles and couldn't help but giggle a little at him. " why you laughing? This show isn't funny, look he's been shot" he said. " Luhan you don't even know what's going on, sorry I just find it cute and funny" I said to him.
Suddenly he got a pillow and threw it at me, I quickly got up and threw one back at him. After fighting and playing like absolute kids we finally relaxed and took a breathe. Luhan looked at me and hesitantly asked " urm I wanted to ask you something, I was hoping to ask you earlier on but you seemed to stressed out". I sat down and asked him what it was he wanted to ask. I looked at him confusedly and saw his face turn a little pink. I knew something was up and had a feeling of what he was going to ask me.
" well we've been friends for quite some time and over the time we've spent together I feel close to you and feel like I can trust you and so I just wanted to ask will you be my girlfriend?". I was speechless and didn't know what to say or do. Soo many things ran through my mind and I noticed Luhans head slouch down. I quickly replied and said " yes I would love to and I also feel the same way". Luhan felt so relieved and happy.
Luhans PoV: gosh that was hard but I nfinally asked her out and she said yes.
Your POV: I didn't expect him to but I also liked him but never really confess because I was afraid I would lose him like I lost my ex and was heartbroken.

My ex was suho and we were high school sweet hearts until we both moved to different city's and had to split.
