How many winners: Check this out - UNLIMITED. That's right, with this anthology there is no set amount of possible winners. This is what we meant when we said it was sort of a contest, but not really. With that said, it doesn't mean we'll be including all entries in the anthology. Keep in mind that your story still has to follow the rules and guidelines, but if you're confident that your writing fits the criteria then you've got a chance to be included.

Genres: As long as the story takes place during a relevant Winter holiday/celebration/festival, we accept all genres. Whether it's a Kwanzaa Horror, a Yule Ball Fanfic, or a Christmas Romance, it will be considered!

Does it have to be completed: Yes. These are short stories, we wouldn't want to have incomplete short stories 😊

Does it have to be a story I wrote this year: Nope! If you wrote one last year or a decade ago, as long as it's your story we'll accept it.

Word count: 1500, with some leeway. Don't go over 1600. Anything over that will not be considered.

Languages accepted: English and Tagalog. At this time we can only accept and review stories in these two languages. In the future once we have a more diverse team, we hope to include more!

How do I submit my story: By emailing us at wattfest@gmail.com - Please send it to us in a word doc or in a format where it's easy for us to copy and paste its content into Wattpad.

Winners get: Shout outs, stickers, and their story posted in the anthology for all to see!

Happy holidays!
