The water rushes past me as I break the surface of the pool. I stick my tounge out at my younger brother, daring him to try that again.

"Oh you're going down Lulu!" he lunges for me trying to pin me down. He knows well enough that I am stronger then he is in the water, but that doesn't mean he won't try to beat me at wrestling or breath holding contests.

Out of the water is another question. Though only a year younger then me, he could easily hold me down with one hand. Mostly it is because I am so clumsy and weak, but sometimes I just want him to win.

He gets close enough to touch my brown floating hair, but I dart way before he can dunk me. I giggle and think, 'another win for me!'

He comes up and sighs running his hands though his wet blonde hair, "I admit defeat! You're just too good for me. I win never beat you!"

I smile, knowing it is just one of his tricks. Before I can even give another thought, he tries again, thinking my guard is down. But as always, I doge out of the way and in turn dunk him.

"I win!" I say proudly. "That was a dirty trick, Will, but lucky for me, you've used it so many times, I am immune to it!" I smirk and splash him playfully. He is pretty much the only one I trust. My mom acts so distant to me, because I am not her real child, but Will treats me like a real sister. A little under two years ago, I was adopted by them after I lost my memory.

In the mist of my thoughts, Will cannonballed into the pool making me go under.

"Hey Lulu, what's up with you? You never let me dunk you, even when your in your head." he looks at my worriedly. "Is it because of your 18th birthday?" I shook my head.

I smiled at him, "No reason, I just wanted you to finally win." He looks at me like I lost my mind. "Fine, I did it so I could do this." I jump on his shoulders and push him under for a minute.

He comes back up coughing and glaring at me, "I win, Will."

"Whatever. The score is: Me-0, You- 158...." He runs his hand though his hair, "Gosh, I will never win, will I?" He smirks and starts to head in. "See ya later, Lulu. I have soccer practice remember?"

I wave as he goes inside. Hmmmm, I forgot about my birthday. For some reason, I am dreading it's coming.
