Nice to meet you, even though I'm just a bunch of text typed by a kid who has no experience in story writing, I'm Ethan, probably the main character. That's all

"Wake up, lazy butt! Wake up, Wake up, Wake up!" A high-pitched voice yells at me. "They're back, they're back!"

"Do you have to repeat everything you say?" I say, slowly getting up from a 8 hour nap. I rub my eyes, tired as anything. "What is it anyway? Who's back"

"The fighters! They're back!!" She said. This is Gwen, energetic, annoying and restless.

"And? It's...Um...Early, so I need sleep." I say, trying to get her to let me sleep. "NO! YOU'VE HAD ENOUGH SLEEP!" She yells, this is what gets her angry, ignorance. "Alright, fine, I'll go. I just don't want any more yelling."

"Deal." She says. "Okay" I agree, so we head out to see the injured fighters. And there, we see it, injured men arriving from battle from outside of the walls, the safe walls. Gwen's face went from a light bulb to a blob fish in the matter of seconds, seeing the soldiers, and I wasn't surprised, seeing them walking down the wide, crowded street was painful, it was like we went out with them, we suffered the same as they did.

"Oh no..." Gwen said, while I stood in horror, I was dreaming of becoming one among the bravest people on this planet, but seeing the broken arms, crutches and people lying in beds, I lost a little hope, but that didn't mean anything to me, I dreamed of this for my entire life.

About 12 years later.

And here we are, standing in line with many. Myself and Gwen were terrified, everyone was scared at least a little bit, heck, even Ben was scared, the big, buff guy was scared! We stood for 5 minuets, until...An intimidating, tall, bald guy walk out of a building near by, he yelled: "ALRIGHT ROOKIES! INTO FORMATION, LET'S SEE IF YOUR WORTH LOOKING AT!" We stand perfectly, I think: 'Me and Gwen'll never get kicked out at this rate!' And I wasn't wrong, Baldy passed us like we were ghosts. I think that means we did good...? I don't know
