Shadow's pov
I woke up in the Avengers tower on floor 45 in my room. I have my own floor because I'm related to Tony Stark or as I like to call him Tony Stank. Yep. Never gonna let that go. He is my Uncle. I don't know who my real dad is. I don't know who my mom is. But I would like to think that my mom is Kara Danvers. She is so nice and funny. Everyone seems to know who my parents are, but don't want to tell me. Apparently I had a really close bond with them. Then S.H.I.E.L.D. wiped my memory of them. I do remember a brown hair guy and a blond hair girl with glasses. Sometimes if I think really hard I see a curly brown haired girl wearing a blue dress and a white haired guy with an eye patch, but it's blurry still.
I walked to the elevator went in it and pressed the level 5 button to go eat breakfast. The elevator played "Look What You Made Me Do." A couple weeks ago I installed a playlist of my songs in this elevator. The doors opened and I walked out into the living room on my way to the kitchen. I thought I was alone until I got to the kitchen and heard them talking. I decided to eavesdrop. Maybe I can find out who my parents are, but I have to turn on my invisibility before Jarvis notices me. I sneaked around to the shadow of the refrigerator to hear better. Tony, Natasha, and Clint are standing around the island. I don't see Goldylocks in there; he is probably in Asgard. Bruce too. He must be in the lab.
"Jarvis?" Tony says.
"Yes sir," responds Jarvis.
"Have you seen Shadow anywhere?" Tony asks.
Oh man, Jarvis. Don't betray me.
"No sir, though I would advise being quiet. She left her room not moments ago." Jarvis says.
Traitor.
"OK" Tony says.
As I am thinking of all the ways to enact revenge on Jarvis, Steve walks in right past. I resist the urge to poke his face. "So did we find out if it was true?" Steve says.
What? What's true or not true?
They all nod their heads.
"So she really isn't human?" Tony asks with a sad look in his eyes.
So were not related after all I didn't think so we didn't look the same we didn't even act the same. But if I'm not related to Stark then who?
"We found out who she is really related to." Natasha said and patted Tony on the back because she felt sorry for him.
They don't know about my powers. I can feel people's feelings and get into their mind without them noticing. Except for Clint, since he was under control of Loki before. It is one of my many pointless powers I can't let anyone know about. I don't know all of them. All I know is I can turn invisible with shadows, shadow travel, see people's emotions and feelings, and get into their head.
Oh no. I think as Clint turns his head looking directly at me. I slowly begin to back out of the kitchen. Please don't tell the others.
"She is related to.." I didn't get to hear the rest of the conversation when I sensed someone behind me. I turned around and the person put the scepter on my chest and I blacked out.
