The MISTICS

New Beginnings

Dear Readers, 

            I've been busy a lot- doing projects for school, stuff at home - and I've been through phase of Writers Block, so I haven't been able to work on Lunar's Eclipse. But recently I got a new idea for a new book. One of the problems with Lunar's Eclipse, was that I just thought about it and immediately wanted to write it into a book. And this is not the first time this happened. I've had multiple ideas for books, like dinosaurs and ghouls and stuff, and recently I even thought about a horror book about a killer snowman on Christmas. Lol! But this time, I have actually thought out and planned this story. And this time I feel a sudden success!! Hope you enjoy!!! This was my outline for this story, so the characters can be understandable to you. This book is called "The Mistics". Its about a mad scientist who wishes to steal the powers of all the Mistics, and use these abilities to rule over the world, both Mistics and Humans. But when these 6 teens figure out their powers, they must juggle the lives of both modern teenagers AND heroes. Enjoy!!

"The Mistics" Outline

Plot: Osmosis creates a traveling mist made of M.I.S.T. or Manipulative. Iodine. Solution. Transplant, which causes the M-gene, or Mistic gene, to perfectly form and generate the abilities in the humans with this gene. Osmosis has the power to absorb other persons powers, in a way to make him powerful. With a greed on power, he plans to steal all Mistic powers so he can rule over them and the humans.

M-gene or Mistic gene: Allows certain humans to develop superhuman powers. A genetic marker indicating the potential of an individual human to survive catastrophic physical trauma by adapting new abilities.

M.I.S.T.: A transversable solution that goes into the bloodstream, and manipulates the core of the dormant M-genes found in the human body to wake them up; leading to them forming and manifesting quicker and the abilities shown sooner. Osmosis sends this into the air to awaken the dormant Mistics. His idea is to extract and duplicate those other powers and abilities into his own bloodstream, to make him stronger and more versatile. Osmosis as a scientist had the idea of the M.I.S.T. project but was turned down. His goal was to use the M.I.S.T. to learn if the person's abilities could be extracted or duplicated. The extraction and growth of the M-gene alone takes too long, but with M.I.S.T., scientists can further study these "Mistics." But now with his new found abilities he can not only study them, but steal their powers and weaponize the genes and rule over them and the humans.

M.S.B.: The M.S.B. or Mistic Secret Base is a secret base that holds Mistics and treats the wounded. A safe haven from threatening humans and other dangers.

Jared has a dominant demeanor and appearance, but is a very practical jokester and a very prominent troublemaker. And he is always there to help his sister, Vanessa, even though sometimes she doesn't want it. Rather tall and muscular, Caucasian with fair skin, scruffy blond hair and light brown eyes. He wears form fitting shirts, ripped jeans, and black Timberland boots. Upon arrival at M.S.B., he wears a black wife beater, black jeans, and black combat boots.
