Part 0 : Prologue

Unknown region.
unknown time.

Arcadia, a small village located at the border of two kingdom. A perfect place to trade, sell, and buy.  Many treasure hunter also gather here to sold their loot, some are rare and magical, other just common thing.

For "small" people, arcadia is a harsh place to live cause everything is expensive and even the government is a corrupt one. A class system divide the poor and the rich, the more they "donate" the higher their "class" is.

"Father, why do we need to pay "donation" fee to the governor?, aren't we already pay the taxes?." a young girl ask his father.

"Shea, this world is not as simple as you think, truth about the world that you have not known are harsh. To live as luxury as now, we need to pay him. Now go to sleep, it's already night and tommorow we are having a "gathering"." the father answer.

The next day.

on the way home from school,

"Shea, wait for me." said the girl not far behind Shea,

"you are the who is slow, come on Feruscia or we will be late for family gathering" Shea answer.

"But there is a lot of time before the gathering start, so why we must hurry?." Feruscia ask

"Well, i want to have time to make me and YOU prettier!.

Before Feruscia can reply, Shea grab Feruscia hand and drag her all the way to the house.

15 minutes before the gathering start.

"C'mon don't be shy, you look very beautiful Feruscia" praise Shea.

"No, it is too embarrassing to go out in this dress and you are the one who force to wear this dress!." Feruscia replied

"ah, c'mon don't be like that, this gathering only once a year. It's not like you always wear dress everywhere you go!." said Shea

"fine, but only this once." Feruscia answer while her face getting red

"yay, ok now let's go to the main hall, i don't want to miss the event." said Shea while grabbing Feruscia hand and ran to the hall.

At the party,

"c'mon, Feruscia let's enjoy ourself in this party. We rarely got time to enjoy ourself" said Shea

"Still be mindfull of your surrounding will you Shea!!" Feruscia replied.

Outside the party, near the town hall. a man shows up

" Please somebody kill me, i can't hold it anymore" plead the man

but everybody near the man just thinking that he is crazy. suddenly thick smoke comes out from the body of the man, as the smoke getting bigger so as the "man" shadows getting bigger and turning into something else. making a noise that make everyone else near that running away.

As the bell at the town center ring, marking that the city is under attack, but because of the noise at the party. None of the party guest heard the bell, suddenly a strong earthquake hit the city.

"Everybody please run to the nearby exit, this building wont last long!!!." someone said.

Before most of them got out, the building crumbled, killing most of the guest and trapping the others.

"Shea, WHERE ARE YOU?!!" the father shouting.

In the distant Shea and Feruscia managed to escaped the building

"HERE FATHER!!!" Shea Shouting

"WAIT THERE!!!" the father replied, but something bad happen.

Behind the thick smoke , a dark shadows fading in. in a second a strong gust clearing the smoke and showing what thing that created the earthquake, a monster that are not similar to any known creature. the creature is similar to dragon, neck as long as giraffe even longer, body that resemble lizard but bigger than the biggest lizard that man ever see. As the beast roar, most of the people running away thinking them while the one that are trapped can't think anything else than their demise.

"WAIT THERE SHEA, stay hidden and don't move!!!"the father shout

as he running to Shea but his shout attract the beast, making the beast run toward him. less than a second the beast already near him, even though he try to dodge the leg but he didn't anticipated it's tail. thrown to a pillar and broke almost all of his ribs

"Shea, run and take ..." the beast crush him before he can finish his words.

"NOOO!!!, DAD WHY!!!" Shea shouting in grief while trying to run to his father side

"No, don't. We can't fight that beast, not with our condition right now. We need to run away, your father don't want you to get killed!!!"

Feruscia trying to persuade Shea. "But, father need to be avenged!!!" in grief, shea still tried charge the beast

. "will it really make your father happy by stupidly killing yourself ?!!!" shout Feruscia.

Shea stopped and falling to her knee "For now, let's try to make our self save first. We can't stay here any longer." Feruscia said.

"Rights, let's go" soullessly said, Shea grab Feruscia arm and go to the opposite direction.

"Both of you hurry, we can't wait any longer"

A man in the distant running to the girls, the grabs both of them and bring them to the carriage and bring both of them to safety. Watching their town burning down and shadows of the creature rampaging throughout the city, they can only see helplessly.
