"Beginnings are quite easy but what actually matters is the end, determination to start sailing in the ocean is only accomplished after the sailor reaches the shore" - Aditya Sahai.
She read the quote through the round glasses held up in a metallic wire frame.
"Anuuuu..." a call reached into her ear and she hurriedly took her eyes off the newspaper and ran inside the house to search for her Mom..
"Yes Mom.."
"Where were you? Go get some grocery from the store, here is the list..
"Uff.. atleast wear a sweater, it's cold out there, this girl..."
"Mom.. chill.."
Ananya Trivedi, a fun loving girl from Dehradun who is in her last year of college pursuing M.B.B.S in Doon University. A fragile body with a strong mind, a rare combination of beauty with brain moulded with innocence and dipped in cuteness.
"Wake up, the teacher will enter any minute" Dev screamed to wake this pug but she hardly responded with "hmm"
"Ananya... get out of the class right now" A lady in her late 50's screamed which surely displaced her lungs a bit.
She wore a Kanjivaram art silk saree which had traditional print of blue and orange embroidered with velvet silver.
She woke up with the scream and gave a cold look to Dev.
"What? What did I do?"Dev sighed
She left the classroom without uttering a single word.
After the bell rang Dev went straight in the library and there she was..
He sat beside her and today it was "The Story of the Lost Child" by Elena Ferrante.
"Why don't you attend lectures seriously?" Dev asked being annoyed and asusual there was no reply.

It was the month of December and everybody was getting ready to attend the marriage ceremony of her aunt's daughter, Sakshi Mehta. Well Ananya too believed that she will be one of the prettiest bride in her family.
"You are going to attend the ceremony in this outfit" her mother enquired.
"It's cool na, Mumma?" She said smiling..
"It's a wedding ceremony, why can't you get something ethnic, go change your dress, else you are not coming along" her mother stated.
She wore a slightly faded and torn out jeans from the thighs and the knees, a loose crop black tee with bunny ears popping out, round big earings and a long chain with a small heart-shaped pendant.
"Let's go we are getting late" her father came and asked them to leave.
"Dad see na mom has asked me change my outfit, I like it this way, please" Ananya tried to convince her father which hardly moved the nail an inch.
"No you can't come along with us if you are wearing this" Her mother conformed.
"Ok, you guys enjoy then" She went in her room.
Everybody left to attend the wedding ceremony.
Ananya sat beside the window admiring the beauty of the night, she was not so social kind of person or I can say an introvert but not with those people who knew her or I think people hardly knew her.
I still remember the first day I saw her, I thought she was a crazy little creature who could befriend anyone, the way she talked and laughed.. How could I forget those cheerful eyes and that cute poky nose which was covered with a piece of cake that day while she ran behind her friend and finally filled him with all the cake she was carrying. Yes I knew I fell for her that very moment.
"Oops.. m so sorry, I am really sorry" her lips moved in sync which seemed music to my ears and those big round beautiful eyes wide open in shock.
"Its ok" was all I could say and she continued to run behind her friend.
