I'm praying that this isn't goodbye

For those of you who don't know, New Neutrality could be gone tomorrow. While there may not be any immediate effects, eventually the major (and only, where I live) Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will significantly slow down certain websites, forcing people to either pay for faster speeds or have their site gain less attention. This also means that they can charge extra for specific websites (for example: YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu would be charged in addition to your current monthly fee). I suggest that you check out Markiplier's video on this topic as well as others. What I'm trying to say is that is Net Neutrality does end up breaking all of us apart, then I want you all to know that I'm incredibly grateful for this community. This is pretty much the only thing that got me through depression last year, and I've met some truly amazing people on here. On top of that, some of the stories I read are beyond the level of some full-on novels that I've read, not just in terms of grammar but in content. I'm not saying that I think Wattpad will go down or anything like that (at least I hope not). I'm saying that monthly internet fees are about to skyrocket, which, depending on the situation, could make it a challenge for even middle-class families to pay for internet access. and even then you would still have to pay extra just to use f*cking Google. So, if some of you can't stay on Wattpad, then I just want you to know that I'm grateful for all that you've done for this community as a whole. I'm thankful for these absolutely amazing stories that inspired my creativity and, in some cases, motivated me to do better in my classes.  However, just remember that this has happened before, and Congress has stopped it. So please, I beg you, contact your congressman, sign the petitions, share information about what Net Neutrality is and why it's important, and just do everything in your power to help defend the free and open internet. Thank you.
