you say that we don't know anything; we're just clueless kids
but we know more than you think, things we should have never learned
you think it can all be solved by your meaningless words and a kiss
do you really think that we haven't been burned?
oh babe, we're burned through the edges, how could you miss?
everything we feel supposedly we've "earned"
but what so bad could have we've done to earn this?
you wouldn't know, unless you've walked in these shoes that have been overturned
we're the kids people thrive to be but we are to remiss
i hope you figure out soon, that you are unlearned
we're mature in making the decision that we've longed to have and be bliss
we're the kids of the afterlife, nothing of anyone's concerns
