The day had gone as the normal boring school day normally goes...lesson after lesson. Everyday was the same apart from new hugs to learn but Thea, being the smart bright girl she has always been, already knew everything the teachers threw at her. When she was younger her mother had a private tutor come to her house to teach her at an early age; her mother hoped one day she's become a successful doctor.

Although learning subjects came easy to the girl she found it quiet boring and so she never paid attention to her classes; she often wondered what the point in her being there was. She could effortlessly pass all her subject right now and then go straight to college. However that isn't possible...

After school she quickly ran out of school with Mac at her heal as they laughed all the way onto the streets.

"Mr Stuart has seriously got the most annoying voice I have ever heard" Mac jokes "He also three a ruler at Sam this morning".

"I wish I had seen that" Thea laughed "What did Sam do?"

"Sneezed" she chuckled "That teacher sure doesn't like any noise".

They strolled down the street; gossiping about their weekend until Mac gave Thea a hug goodbye and turned down another street.
Thea plugged in her ear phones and continued to walk home.

Her walk was normal, quiet and relaxing, however this time, like that morning, she felt a presence behind her but as she turned she found no one. Maybe she is being paranoid from the news that morning or maybe not. Either ways she crossed the road and continue to stroll home.

It didn't take long for her to find her street but she still felt someone watching her, following her. Once her house was in view she ran the rat of the way; slamming the front door behind as she entered.

"Thea, honey!" Her mother smiled as she entered the living room "What's the matter?".

"Nothing" Thea shook her head "I'm just going to go and do some homework" she told her mother as she sprinted up the stairs.

"I'll call you when dinner is ready" her mother called after her.

That night she didn't sleep, she couldn't, she was afraid, afraid of the murders, afraid of the feeling she had walking home, afraid that she was being followed.

She tossed and turn in her bed; become tangled in the sheets. Beads of sweat rolled down her face. She frustrated threw the covers off of her; jumping up and quietly wandering to her window and sliding it up to allow the cool air to enter her bedroom.

She sat on her window seat looking up at the midnight sky full of glittering stars. Across from her house sat a forest. It never scared her having a forest on her street; she use to play hide and seek with her friends when they were younger. It never felt scary until her eyes found a dark figure lurking behind a tree.

She bit her lip to stop a scream from falling out; slowly closing her window. The figure was close enough for her to see that whoever it is, is facing her house but not close enough to see their face.

Once her window was locked she stood and began to close her curtains only to see the figure creep out from the forest and move towards her drive; stopping under her window and looking up at her.

The green orbs of the figure meeting her blue ones; their white teeth sparkled in the moon light. However she still couldn't make out the creeps face and her body stayed in place; her heart racing faster than the speed of light.

The figure raised their hand and waving it up at her slowly and jagged. She could see his smile growing as eyes widened. Her voice stuck in her throat as she tried to call for her mother.

Suddenly the figures turned around; looking out for a moment then walking away from her house and to the forest; looking back at her with a wave then disappearing into the forest.

Once she was sure he was gone she smashed the curtains back together and dashing to her bed; pulling the covers over her, shaking like a wet dog.

Many questions ran through her head...Who is the figure? Is that the murderer? Do they know her? Does she know them? Is she in danger?
