Harris nodded.

"Dash and kill?"

His boss nodded.

"It's a classic dash and kill. One that will go down in history."

Morris smiled.

"I like the sound of that." He replied.

The young freshman returned to the outside world. He looked around to see if anyone was there. He was met with only silence. The male technopath took another peek at the note. It notified him to come outside and that's exactly what he did. Where was this mysterious person?

"I have a fun way of doing things."

The fifteen year old heard the voice and looked up. He saw the person sitting on the edge of the roof. He smiled.

"Is this a thing now?" Ryan asked.

"Eh, I'll think about it. Now come on up, I didn't call you for nothing." Ryley answered.

"How am I gonna get up there?" Ryan questioned her.

The cheerleader got up and turned around. She walked away, confusing her friend. In a few seconds, she dropped the ladder down. Once it was steady, the pilot climbed up. His companion watched as he did so. He made it to the top within five seconds. The sophomore removed the ladder and placed it beside them. The two sat on the edge.

"Not bad for a climber, Walker. Eddy took forever to get up here." Ryley complimented.

Ryan chuckled.

"Well when you pilot a robot, climbing a ladder is a piece of cake." He responded.

Ryley giggled.

"We're being corny right now." Ryan mentioned.

"Very." Ryley agreed.

They both shared a laugh. Ryan took another look at her beautiful face before dropping his smile.

"If it's about this deal-"

"Ry, if I wanted to talk to you about this offer, I would've made it clear in the note." Ryley stopped him.

Ryan sighed. He felt something on his right shoulder. He looked down to see the cheerleader laying her head on him. She had done this before, but this was more affectionate. The pilot hadn't seen this side of her much, so he appreciated it while he had it. He wrapped an arm around her. Ryley looked down and smiled.

"Can I ask you something?" She questioned.

"Yeah." Ryan allowed.

Ryley sighed.

"Why do you like me so much?" She inquired.

The fifteen year old's eyes widened. He took a peek at her before answering. Did she...? No, she didn't...but how...?

"Uh...wh-who said I liked you?" Ryan stuttered.

Ryley rolled her eyes.

"I've always known that you slowpoke. I just wanna know why." She answered back.

Ryan bit his lip before answering.

"You've always been so tough and outgoing. I love that you don't let people bother you and how your willing to rip their heads off for me and my friends." He started.

Ryley giggled.

"Ryles, your fun, crazy, a little mean, cool, and smart. I've never had someone like that. And your gorgeous-"

Ryan paused as his eyes widened again.

"You think I'm gorgeous?" Ryley questioned.

Ryan began to turn a little red.

"Uh..." He stammered.

Ryley quickly kissed him on the cheek.

"Thanks." She said.

The pilot had a grin plastered on his face.

"No problem." Ryan replied.

His friend smiled as well.

"So...are we like...dating now?" The technopath posed.

Ryley looked at the sky before answering him.

"Depends. Would you be a good boyfriend?" She inquired.

Ryan shrugged.

"I'll try to be." He replied.

"Would you keep any secrets from me?" Ryley asked.

"Well, I control a giant robot. And me, my friends, and my brother have to try and save everyone. It's kinda crazy." Ryan told her.

The cheerleader smacked him in the shoulder. The pilot chuckled.

"I know that dumbo. I mean, would you ever lie to me?" Ryley clarified.

"Well, I can't tell you everything. It took me forever just to tell you this. How am I gonna know when I can tell you the truth?" Ryan asked.

Ryley was silent for a few seconds. She soon nodded, showing that she accepted his answer. As much as she wanted more, that's as honest as you can get. Most men want to be super and only tell the truth. Well, nobody was made perfect. Things happen, and sometimes you can't control what goes on.

"So...did I pass? Am I good enough?" Ryan questioned.

Ryley lifted her head up. She used her hands to cup her friend's face. She leaned in and kissed him. Ryan was taken aback, but he returned it happily. It lasted for a few seconds before they parted. Ryley still had her hands on his face.

"You've always been good enough for me Walker." She stated.

This had to be the best day of the fifteen year old's life. Of all the things this girl has done to either satisfy or drive him crazy, the moment that was taking place right now made it totally worth it. He never imagined that Ryley Dennis, the popular and amazing cheerleader, would be his girlfriend. This all seemed so crazy. First, she gave him two offers. Now, she sealed the deal by becoming his new flame. And although this was all fantastic, a feeling of suspicion swept over him. He didn't know why it had suddenly came on. However, he would go back to that later. Right now, this moment was all he cared about.
