After a good half hour, the bell rung. Students gathered into the halls. Some people met up with their friends while others went into their lockers. As for the people who cared about perfection, they rushed passed everyone to be on time. The oldest of the five was at his locker. He was busy getting his stuff and checking his phone. While doing so, he had another person join him. Unaware of the company, the former jock continued to play with his device.

"Hmm, Mark Walker is playing on his phone not realizing he only has a certain amount of time to get to class. What a great way to make use of your time."

The voice caused the sixteen year old to smile and shake his head. He turned around and closed his locker.

"Come on, if I'm not on my phone, then how am I gonna remember to text Jalen about what we're doing next weekend?" Mark asked.

"Wow, so you can remember the hangout and making yourself look awesome-"

"Which I do." Mark quickly complimented himself.

"But you really had a hard time remembering when we got together?" Georgia questioned.

Mark leaned against his locker.

"Your still mad at me about that?" He inquired.

"I'm not mad. I just thought it'd be important to you about when we first started dating. There's a thing called an anniversary for a reason." Georgia told him.

"I didn't think you would care about that stuff." Mark replied.

"Don't get this warrior wrong, Marcus. I may be a sports pro and a huge medival fan, but I am a girl. I do keep track of certain things." Georgia informed him.

"Which is one of the reasons why I like you so much. That and your not like every other girl I dated." Mark told her.

Georgia raised an eyebrow.

"How many girls have you dated?" She queried with her arms crossed.

Her boyfriend's eyes widened a bit.

"Not many..." The former jock trailed off.

His girlfriend nodded as she waited for a more detailed answer.

"It's just...uh..." Mark tried to think.

From the corner of his eye, he could see one of his buddies. That made him immediately smile.

"Hey look! It's Dane! Dane come here!" Mark called out.

His friend heard his name and came over.

"Hey, what's up man?" Dane greeted.

Georgia shook her head.

"Nice save." She remarked sarcastically.

Mark was a bit nervous as Dane looked at her.

"What'd he do?" He questioned.

Mark gave him an incredulous look. Georgia chuckled.

"Dane, your his best friend..." She started.

Dane raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah?" He posed.

Georgia leaned up against the lockers.

"How many girls did Mark date before he was transferred here?" She quizzed.

Another part of Bay City High's varsity team joined the three. He stood next to the sixteen year old.

"Well...I mean, he's not like that. In fact, he was all about the game and didn't really partake with the ladies much." Dane told her while trying to cover for his friend.
