Alex:

My day could not get any worse. The pain in my leg went away, but now I have a pounding headache in its place. I hate getting headaches! Everytime I get one, I feel like I'm dying. They're terrible.

The concert starts in about two hours. We still have to do a soundcheck and put on our outfits that we'll be wearing tonight, so I probably won't have time to take even a two minute nap.

"Alex? Are you in there?" I heard Nat asking for me. I guess he noticed that I had locked myself in the dressing room with all the lights out.

"Yeah. What do you want?" I asked, a little annoyed.

"Dad wants to talk to us before the concert. So come on," Nat said.

"I have a headache. Leave me alone," I told him.

"Cut the attitude and get your ass out here. Now," said Nat.

     "Just give me a minute!"

     "Now, Alex."

"Oh my god. I'm coming!" I said, really annoyed. Nat knows how bad my headaches get and he won't give me a little time to relax.

I went to to the room where my dad and Nat were waiting for me. Dad was sitting there drinking a coke. Nat was just standing there.

"What? What is so important?" I asked.

"What are you talking about?" Dad asked me.

"Well, Nat said you wanted to talk to us before the concert."

     "I didn't say that."

I looked at Nat. "You're such an ass. You know that, right?"

"Yeah. I've been told." said Nat.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"6:15. You guys should hurry up and get to soundcheck," Dad told us.

"My clock in the dressing room said it was only five something," I said. I'm so confused.

Nat laughed. Now I'm not so confused. Nat changed the time on the time om my clock.

"Damnit Nat! Why do you have you have to go and do stuff like that?" I asked. Nat makes me so mad sometimes.

"Just go on," Dad told both of us.

At that moment, I seriously wanted to punch Nat right in the face. I mean, he doesn't have to go and do things like that. Changing the time on my clock? That was so immature.

It wasn't the first time he's done something that almost made me late.

I think it was last year when Nat put a fake snake in my dressing room. He knows I'm terrified of snakes.

I walked into my dressing room one night and I was coming out of the bathroom, wearing only a towel, and I saw the rubber snake lying in front of the bathroom door. That thing looked so real!

I screamed like a little girl. I almost lost my towel, too, because I jumped over the snake and onto the couch. It took me almost a full ten minutes to realize that the snake didn't move, so I threw something at it. And right after that, Nat came in there laughing so hard that he started crying. I also laughed, but my heart was still racing from seeing the fake snake.

The sound check went surprisingly well. My headache got worse because of the bright lights. But, oh well. I just hope the concert goes just as good.
