1.Simple Present

When: Habitual action/ Certain fact/ vivid narration/surprise/wishes/general truth.

Verb form: V1

I/we/you/they=》take

He/She/it/this=》 takes

NOTE- WHEN ROOT VERB GIVEN IS 'TAKE'.

2. Present contineous

When: Ongoing action

Verb: (to be)+V1+ing

NOTE: USED IRREGUALR FORMS OF 'TO BE' ARE

3.Present perfect

When: Action done just ended, immediate past, or exact time of an action taking place is unmentioned/unknown.

Verb: has/have+V3

I/we/You/they=》have taken
He/She/it/this=》 has taken

4.Present perfect contineous

When: The action was just going on.

Verb: has/have+been+V1+ing

I/we/you/they=》 have been taking
He/she/it/this=》 has been taking

5.Participle

When:Participles are verbs that act as adjectives in the sentence.

Verb: V1+ing
