Can you keep a secret?

Kyle's POV

Hahaha! I did it! I scared Chris!

His face was so priceless!!!

Running a hand through my hair, I looked at where Chris was.

He should came up by now right? Or is he trying to trick me back?

He probably is knowing Christopher.

I carefully made my way out the pool with my guard up.

I looked at the empty pool searching for the sneaky Christopher.

He was nowhere to be found.

I'm sure he fell back in the water.

Through the clear water I see Chris's body.

In a quick second I'm diving in the water and swimming towards Chris's body underwater.

"CHRIS!!!"

Once I got ahold of Chris I swam to the closet exit out of the pool.

I laid his body down and put my ear on his chest.

He still had a heart beat but it was fading quickly.

Quickly, I began doing the mouth to mouth process.

I blew into in mouth hold his nose.

After five puffs I put one hand on his stomach and the other on top of it.

Pushing a few times on his stomach I got nothing.

So I puffed in his mouth more and kept pushing down on his stomach.

20 minutes of worrying,
I got Chris back to life.

He sat up and threw up pool water.

He was gasping air like he was hoping it was there.

"Damn Chris. I'm never doing that again."

His head shot towards me and his eye filled with angry.

He slapped me across my cheek.

"What the hell Kyle!!? I almost died!!!"

"I'm sorry." I said holding my red stinging cheek. Damn this kid could hit.

He was hugging himself and his breathing clammed down. His eyes were still wide as he started breathing normally.

I should say something but he seems in pain and too much of a shock.

He probably saw his whole life flash before his eyes.

All the pain and memories.

But why is it so bad that he is like this?

I moved closer to him and he started rocking back and forth.

"Don't touch me...."
