I will never forget what happened that night, i was 16 years old, it was day time, around 3:00, Freddy my neighbor, that I basically consider a brother decided that it would be fun to go search inside the old toy factory, that was in our neighborhood. Later that night, at 10:00 p.m. Freddy came over to my house to gather supplies for the trip/search. We gathered flashlights, left over food from last nights dinner, and some old clothes that we didn't care if they got dirty or not. When we were ready I decided that we should take our bikes instead of taking the car because it would be to loud. When we finally got there I didn't realize how big it was.
"It's like 8 floors" said Freddy
"I know" I said
As we took a step in we opened a huge metal door, it let out a big squeak and it echoed through the building. When Freddy turned on his flashlight all you could see was dust and old office supplies.
"What do you think happened" said Freddy
"Maybe it went out of business"I responded
As we started walking forward we came across long metal gated stairs, when we got to the top I saw a door opened a crack with a dim light coming from it, it almost was like candle light. As I told Freddy he nodded and that was the signal to go. Then as we slowly walk towards it the squeaky wooden floor boards gave away our position, and then all of a sudden the light flickered off.
