Deep Hollow has never been what it seems. The town is located in the center of Vermont and has, at any given time, around 6,000 residents. By all accounts, it would look, to an outsider, or indeed, most of its citizens, to be just a normal small town.
It has most of the things that a normal small town has. It has a churches on just about every corner. There's a police station that hasn't historically gotten a lot of use. A couple of public schools, one private school, and a college have popped up to educate the town's children and young adults. There's even a bar or two for the fabled small town drunkards to hang out.
To most, it would seem like a lovely little place. Idyllic even. A perfect example of people living the American Dream unfettered by the hustle and bustle of a big city.
But the truth is that Deep Hollow is a very dangerous place. Beneath the calm small town exterior lies a far darker reality. Only a select few will ever discover what Deep Hollow really is. Assuming they do their job correctly.
