Y/n POV

I thought I did pretty well at my audition... Well it's been 2 days and I haven't gotten a call or an email back. Hmm why should I even worry? I knew I wasn't going to get the part, pffft I must be insane to think I could actually get that damn stupid part. I mean at least I tried... right?

My foot tapped on the railing of my desk just bored to death in science class, my teacher Mr Gonzales was explaining something but I could careless, all I could think about was food and a nice nana nap. (Alliteration 😉)

"Mrs. Y/n! Are you listening?." Mr.Gonzales shouted across the class room, this made the whole class face me... how freakin embarrassing. I stopped tapping my foot and sat up properly just facing him, my throat had gulped and I nodded a yes. His stern eyes glanced at me for a few more seconds before he continued his stupid lesson.

                                   ~home now~

Hours have passed and I reached home. I raced to my kitchen and decided to whip me up a batch of nothing, Who am I fooling? I can't cook for shit. I grabbed me-self a bowl and poured in some fruit loops.

"Mom are you home?" I yelled out loud. No reply. I finished grabbing what I needed and pushed my long board out of the foyer in case I would trip over it. Making my way over to my lounge I planted my ass on the couch and started eating. My curiosity took over so I decided to turn on Netflix and maybe watch a few eps of Stranger things... next thing ya know, I'm hooked on the show, also bummed that I didn't make it but ehh whatever, their missing out 😏.
I kept screaming and yelling at the tv, man this show really knows how to bring out my emotions, I was happy cause I shipped Mike and Eleven... then next thing ya know I'm bawling my eyes out because El disappeared with that demogorgan . My ears then heard the chime of keys, momma was HOME.
She had walked through and into the lounge, her figure standing in front of the TV blocking my view.

"Honey I got a call and an email. YOU HAVE A CHEMISTRY READ TOMORROW, YOU GOT THE PART!." She yelled, I didn't really compromise what she said due to me watching, but then it processed properly. I stood up and screamed.

"WHAT THE HAY!!! OH MAN. I gotta sort out my outfit." I yelled then raced upstairs.

Finn POV

It was a Sunday morning and I was up early because I had to come in for a chemistry read with the new actress who was going to play 'Dolores Isgro'. I have no idea who they picked... let's just hope she's friendly. Entering through the room that was taking place with the chemistry reads I saw the duffer brothers and the other cast mates like Gaten, Noah, Sadie, Caleb, Millie, Joe, Natalie and Charlie. I planted my ass onto a chair next to Charlie, I examined as Ross stood up in front of us.

"So the actress who will be playing Dolores will be here soon. Our plan when she gets here is too start with the group of kids to do readings with her in the room next door, than start doing the chemistry reads individually." Ross explained flinging his arms around as he points towards us and the room next door.
All of our attention was then grabbed by the swinging doors at the entrance and a stumbling girl falling through,

"Damn it." She mumbled, I chuckled and she looked up to catch my glance.

"Careful Y/N." I spoke out loud, she grinned extremely hard and walked over to join us. I was glad she was casted, I knew her... kind of, well I already know that she's friendly and she's amazing with the part of Dolores!

"Everybody! This is Y/N - L/N! You'll get to know her soon don't worry, but let's get started with the reads!" Matt explained then pointed to the party of 6 (Mike, El, Will, Dustin, Max and Lucas).

We all started making our way to the room next door,

"Hey clumsy , I'm happy you got the part." I spoke smiling, she just winked and opened her mouth, she was going to say something until Millie and Sadie grabbed her. The girls started introducing themselves and created convo with Y/N aka clumsy.

"You get me." Finn Wolfhard x ReaderWhere stories live. Discover now
